Aurora Bay Event 027 ~ Aurora Bay’s Spring Garden Festival ~ April 24th - May 3rd ~
With springtime now in full bloom and summer just around the corner, it's time for Aurora Bay's annual Garden Festival!
As is every year, over the last few weeks characters may have heard talk of the botanical gardens working on getting everything ready for their most popular event of the year. The entire town will be in on it too, with Aurora Bay decked out in flowers and garlands, decorated hedges and trees in twinkling lights, and special offerings in food establishments! And with this being the Garden's thirteenth festival, they're going all out! Every night during the festival, the Garden will have special LED lights all throughout the garden, and throughout the daytime there will also be live music, food, various vendors, and even some wine and spirit tastings for the adults!
There's something for everyone, so plan ahead and have some fun!

Aaron felt pathetic. He had been in town for close to two months now, and he knew that wasn't a long time, but it was as though he forgot how to be a person, and closed himself off. He wasn't like this, wasn't someone who enjoyed being on his own. He had always thrived in community, and he was finding it hard to wrestle with his past, with his choices. He needed to get out more. Needed to push himself into the unknown.
Which is how he found himself at Driftwood Coffee, papers to grade in his tote bag. He ordered a black coffee and a pumpkin bagel, an attempt to get into the season. He sat down at a table, his long legs awkwardly crammed and folded under his seat. He didn't even realize he was speaking until the words left his mouth. "I'm sorry... fall is great and all, but this isn't a bagel. This goes against the very nature of what a bagel is supposed to be!" You could take the boy out of New York, but you couldn't take New York out of the boy.

Emily loved the fall. She wandered through the botanical gardens, that had now gotten a Halloween makeover. There was something magical about fall, especially in places like these. The sun had long set, and the surroundings were let up by Halloween lights. She spotted the corn maze. Standing in front of the maze's entrance she said "I wonder if I’d actually get lost in there," she chuckled to herself. "Maybe I should just stick to the food stands."
"If there's one thing I live for - it's kettlecorn." Peyton explained as he held two bags up. It was his favorite part of fall. Sure, he could get it at any time of the year, but it felt much more special during the fall especially close to Halloween. "You'll have to get your own though." He said, dropping his arms to his sides.
Ford had been trying to navigate through the party for about a half hour, before he already wanted to step outside and grab some air. He wondered if he could just use the lightsaber as a way to push through the crowd. Instead of using a prop as a weapon though he instead saw an opening and moved over to the side. He started trying to find his lighter before he stepped out to grab a smoke only to find it gone. Stupid fucking Jedi outfit not having pockets. “ hey, sorry to bug you, I was going to grab a smoke outside do you have a lighter ?”

There was some thing about being at the carnival with Juliet that took him back to how everything felt when they were younger. Even though so much had passed between them when he was with her it felt like no time has passed at all. There was still so much he needed to tell her and wanted to tell her, but he knew that there needed to be a time in a place for everything. He didn’t know that he had a timer going on in the back of his head, because he had no interest in being punched by his brother by surprise again. Maybe tonight would be the right time to tell her how he felt and hope she was willing to stick around for all the other craziness in his life. He didn’t blame her if she didn’t, but he knew he had to at least make some sort of gesture, indicating what he wanted and how he felt.
“ so what do you think? Do you wanna do everything we did when we were teenagers? Or do you think we can’t keep up with our younger selves anymore?”
