Hmm, I hadn't thought about that, but it's possible! I don't know if he'd necessarily develop a fear of the ocean, but I could see him struggling a bit with being in water (or even just a bath) at first without having a slow, creeping sense of déjà vu and feeling transported back to that time, if only for a moment. It's not even the ocean itself that scares him - it's more how he felt when he was there, that despairing weakness, those sharp, aching pangs of true hopelessness that are usually so alien to him, of having let Luigi and everyone else down, of knowing in his bones that he and his brother were going to die in this world without ever seeing each other or home again. He hates reliving that, but it's hard to fight when his senses transport him back there, and he just wants to get out of the water again as soon as possible to leave it behind and remind himself that everything's fine.
But talking it through helps, and time passing helps! I think he'd get a to a point before too long where he's able to put the memory safely behind him, hidden behind new, wonderful memories, and really enjoy being back in the ocean. :)

I headcanon Boom!Knuckles as bisexual. I don't have a lot of specific headcanons beyond that, though I like messing around and making various characters LGBT+ in my AUs.

I made a quick tutorial. It’s not the best made but it gets the lesson down.
As weird as it probably sounds, Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric is one of my favorites. There's just something about it that makes me feel happy when I play it. The animation, even if it's really unpolished, is still more expressive than a lot of the regular Sonic games. I also just feel like it has a lot of personality. And even if some of the jokes fall flat, I still enjoy a lot of the humor. I giggled a lot during the cutscenes and stuff. The music is relaxing, too. I dunno, I just like it.
It is a very chill game! I can totally understand that! The cutscene where Knuckles hits a ring out of Sonic made me so happy.
