The quiet ticking of the tall clock sounded throughout the rooms, all calm and quiet for once. Walls have since been repaired, windows replaced, and furniture reupholstered. The episode from several weeks ago with succubus demons running amok was quickly fading from the female warlock’s attention, now there was something much more important to focus on.
“You will not do bad things. You will not do bad things.... you... will not SUMMON.. demons. you will not do bad things. you will not open up a demonic spell book.. you will not practice rituals overheard from trolls...you will...” This had been going on for a little over an hour, Aushe standing with her face only inches from a mirror, her wide green eyes staring back in horror. She would do this! She had to do it, her best friends were coming to stay with her. Not only that but her best friends and their unborn child. Aushe whined, “You will not cook with Plague and poisons, you will not bring things back from the dead.. and try to animate Alliance corpses....”. She was thrilled beyond measure that Vye and Ran were coming, it was lonely in Silvermoon without them there. She only had Fineon, to bother and run to when her spells went wrong, poor guy she still had to make it up to him for ruining his date. But this would be a good thing, Aushe nodded to her reflection and mustered a smile. It crumbled almost immediately. She couldn’t, it was like an addiction... all those beautiful deadly....powerful spells. NO! she would not risk the safety of everyone else. A reluctant sigh slipped from her lips as she withdrew a silver key that hung from a chain between her breasts. Slipping the chain over her head she carried it off towards the kitchen. Standing over a food dish she dropped it, tears just about brimming her eyes as she watched it sink into dark glob of a questionable substance below. Taking a step back she brought her fingers to her lip and whistled loudly. Pryythun her felhunter came bounding in through the open double doors of the kitchen, tracking muddy footprints all over the pearl white marbled floors. “Phantast!” Aushe bellowed quickly stepping out of the way of her demon dog who hungrily started to devour the contents of the bowl. “Yes Mistress Aushe?” The echoey voice of her voidwalker wandered in. He floated around her eyes eyeing the the footprints with a sigh from his mouth. His eyes wandered to the dish, spotting the bright silver end of the key. “MISS AUSHE! The key to your study!” The voidwalker lunged towards the dish but Aushe quickly stopped him. “No.. its the only way. I...I...” Her shoulders trembled. Gods Aushe, get a hold of yourself. “Ive dug through their waste once in my life... I have vowed to never do it again.. I cant risk succuming to one of my dangerous urges....”. The bowl now empty and all contents devoured the felhunter happily brushed against Aush’s leg and ran off. He really likes that dog house, doesn’t he?” She couldn’t help but chuckle as she watched him scamper off. Phantast finished cleaning the floor and cleared its deep throat. “Miss Aushe the rooms have been prepared just as you have requested... all is ready for Mistress Vye and Master Ran”. Finally! Excitement quickly overwhelmed the young warlock. They should be here soon, and Aushe was just about bursting with excitement t show them what had been done to the upstairs of her home. “Phantast be a darling, a half dozen yellow roses with a light blue ribbon..” The demon nodded and disappeared outside. Snapping her fingers another demon appeared. “Yes....” The large brooding form of her felguard materialized behind Aushe. “Brian, I need you to greet Vye and Ran”. It raised a brow and sneered. “Dont scowl, its your command” Aushe hissed Eyes narrowing dangerously as she turned facing her demon. No response, good. “See, not so tough after all...now where was I... ah!” A soft giggle slipped from Aushe’s lips as she hurried to the fridge and withdrew a small cake with blue frosting. “Now, as I said you will greet our new house guests and carry their belongings back here. as well as giving them this” She held out the cake and the felguard took it in his spare hand that wasn’t holding the axe. Phantast returned moments later with the bouquet of roses. “And These” Aushe took the roses and held them out towards the felguard. It growled scowling at Aushe again, its hand gripping its axe tighter. “Drop the axe” Aushe ordered. It snarled again and released the large weapon letting it clang loudly onto the floor and took the flowers. “Dont forget to smile” Aushe ordered after it as it exited the room.
It didn’t take too long to locate its targets, sneering even more so than before as it neared the fat troll and fat priest. “My Mistress bids you fat troll and fat elf welcome” It greeted them coldly holding out the flowers out to Vye and the cake to Ran
