Yeah, I can definitely believe it's the most challenging one. I'm a bit sad that the story has never focused a lot on such relationships though.

But hey, maybe Hiveswap will give us some of that! :D

List three honest flaws your character has and talk about how those flaws make them problematic.

well, for starters, alistair’s pretty stubborn. he can be set in his ways and it’s hard to convince him otherwise (loghain, for starters). it doesn’t matter if something might be beneficial in the long run, if it’s immediately troubling and goes against what he believes in, he’ll oppose it (with some rare exceptions).i think his sense of humor could get in the way of things with certain people (though it isn’t necessary a flaw). some don’t appreciate his need to deflect in serious situations and demand seriousness, and that could lead to some disagreements, especially if the situation calls for total seriousness.his need for attention, while again not entirely a flaw, is something that sort of ... inhibits him? he wants it and he yearns for it and he doesn’t know how to ask for it. he was denied that all his life and a lot of his character is based around how much he wants love and attention and it can be an ugly thing when he isn’t trying to express that with affection.

Out of the really popular pairings in your fandom, what’s your nOTP?

um, not sure? most stuff i’ve seen here is pretty tame. i’m not a fan of bull/dorian, though. and there was a loghain/alistair fic in the tags one times and??? nah.

oh, genderbending/cisswapping/whatever you want to call it. i don’t feel like getting into just why it’s bad because i could really go on about it, but there are obvious problems with it. you see a ton of ~rule 63′d characters, but not nearly as many trans headcanons, too, lmao. it just bugs me a lot and has been increasingly grating on my nerves lately, honestly.
