Flemeth found a pleasant nook that had the trails of another’s presence--the imprint on the seat, books gathered at the base, a forgotten wineglass and bottle. Clearly a well loved home with a pleasant view down onto the courtyards. She stared, watching not only the people there now, but the ghosts of the past trailing through, soldiers hurrying, running for their lives, screaming, or laughing, reliving their glory days while serving their lord.
