Just a polite reminder to everyone that we support responsible breeding ! This includes both purebred dogs and purpose bred mixes (primarily sport dog mixes). Do not confuse this with us supporting puppy mills or not supporting shelters. We do not believe you should ever buy from a pet store, backyard breeder, or puppy mill. Take responsibility when choosing a breeder. We also support adopting from a reputable shelter if it is right for your family. We have a Hound Mix sister from a shelter and she is great, just not the kind of dog mom needs to do sports. We support people choosing to leave their dogs intact until they are fully grown. We support those who keep their pets intact for life and are responsible (Neither Pants nor Marvel are neutered, I do not plan on neutering them, neither has been bred at this time). We do not like the phrase or hashtag "adopt don't shop". We prefer #stoppuppymills or #iloveresponsibledogbreeders #saynotopetstores . Instead of bashing breeders take the time to educate people on what to look for in a responsible breeder and what to avoid. And it is the most important to promote responsible dog ownership and training ! So many dogs are dumped in shelter because their owners don't put in the work. Owning a dog is a huge commitment, please think it through before getting a dog .
