Marvel AU: They

Austin Armbruster

Codename/Original Name: They (Based on Adam Warlock)

They was created by his father (the High Evolutionary) in order to bring specimens for him to evolve into forms of life that would serve him. M.A.R.V.E.L. Academy had spies on the inside, and got the Guardians of the Galaxy to free They, hoping to help the new being use his powers for good.

When they freed her from his cocoon, They seemed reluctant to fight them. After a brief scuffle that seemed more like They getting his energy out in a sparring session, Cosmic Lord (Austin Q) asked if her dad ever asked him what she wanted. They admitted that he hadn't, and that he found the High Evolutionary's goal to be rather mean.

She ended up becoming the newest member of the student group, excited to see what the outside world was like. He remains a bit childlike, since he was literally born less than a year ago, but it's resulted in her optimism about the world. She does have to learn how to control her Sovereign powers though.

She chose the name Austin A, since Austin Q was the first to reach out a hand to help him out. Also, he thinks that Mystic (Austin B) is fun to fight and that Lunar Soldier (Austin T) is really cool.

Despite him being a villain, They is proudly dating Uomo di Sabbia (Spinelli). Austin B takes advantage of this and often has Spinelli along with him for crimes so that They will get flustered.

Austin A: What? Could’ve fooled me with your whole biker chic.

Spinelli: Yeah, I guess. And anyway, I’ve always had a thing for chaotic gremlins.

Austin A: How DARE you?! I am not a gremlin! Take that back! Someone tell him I’m not a gremlin! I resent that!

Spinelli: *As he continues ranting* See why I love him? But, overall… *Holds Austin A’s hand* Austin is quite possibly the funniest, attentive, most beautiful person I’ve had the pleasure to know.

Austin Armbruster - Chip Whistler

As the youngest CEO of Wholesome Foods, PR is very important to Austin. While he puts on a facade of a humble and fun-loving kid on social media, she's a cutthroat businessman who will do anything to make a profit. and is obsessed with destroying his rivals.

Armbruster is very obsessed with his looks, making sure she always looks flawless. Whenever his tooth get chipped, it's a nightmare for him. Thankfuly her sorcerer boyfriend is there to repair it.

He's very clingy with Spinelli, always making sure his friends aren't ogling the boy.

He will often hype up Spinelli and do PR for him on social media and in return Spinelli uses his magic to help her business.

The entrepreneur often works with Lotta on scams and helps her out with her criminal gang.

DC AU: Star Quartz

Codename: Star Quartz (Based on Star Sapphire)

The main reason for Austin A.'s villainy is that she's never been told "no" in a day of his life. This has resulted in him becoming a spoiled brat who goes absolutely ballistic when she isn't getting what he wants. While this just resulted in rather loud tantrums as a kid, he only got more and more destructive as he got older.

Austin A. and Austin T. were first set up to be friends by their rich parents. While Tomassian was happy to have company, Armbruster was soon found to be incredibly clingy. She'd try and remove other kids from the equation if he saw them with Austin T, would get upset if Tomassian was seemingly too busy to hang out with him (even when Tomassian's grandparents were on their deathbed). He showered his friend with lavish gifts, but eventually as they got older, Tomassian had enough. He told Austin A that she was not giving him any space, and that he was harming other kids in his name. She didn't take the news well, destroying his room, screaming at him for abandoning her, and telling Austin T that he was the only one who cared about him, the only friend he could have.

After Austin T became Jade Lantern, Austin A was one of the only people who knew who he truly was. He began hiring actors to "attack" her, just so her former bestie could "save" her. When Austin T found out what she was doing, he was outraged, since Armbruster was putting people's lives in danger. He told her parents that if they didn't punish their child for once, he'd end up in trouble. Furious, Austin A ended up getting one of the people he'd hired to find a ring from the Lantern Corps so that he could put it on and force Austin to be his friend again.

Given a ring from the Violet Corps, he became Star Quartz, and proceded to wreak havoc on the people of Paris. She stole from his own family, destroyed property and put thousands of lives in danger. This act of villainy got him noticed by DC Academy, who figured if they could redeem her, he could possibly become a fellow junior member of the Lantern Corps. Austin Tomassian, who had also been recently accepted, warned against it, but they didn't listen.

At D.C., Austin A has found new obsessions besides Austin T. There's E Voila, a.k.a. Spinelli. He thinks the hero is totes adorable and loves destroying stuff so his crush will come and help stop her. She gets to "hang out" with his old bestie and her dream boy! He's also found some platonic fixations. There's the antiheroes of Roulette (Austin B) and Mako (Austin Q), who find him to be very annoying. Also, there's his thankfully reciprocated friendships with Adri-Quinn (Adrien), Feline Shadow (Juleka), Thorne (Rose), Caracal (Alix), Colossus (Nathaniel) and Surge (Emani). Ok, so Nathaniel and his buddies hate Emani's guts, but why should she care about that?

Ericka was once a girl with a big dream. She came to the Parisian Opera Theatre, hoping to eventually become a star. However, her talents were ignored due to height and weight not making her seen as “a star” in the eyes of the shallow and superficial director. She toiled away as an understudy, waiting for her moment to shine. On the day she finally got her big break, a fire took her life. Now she haunts the theatre as a phantom, using her powers to sing beautiful yet melancholy songs, to help out those in need, and to frighten those who are not grateful for her benevolence. It was during this time of composing masterpieces and looking for her next trainee that she met Christian Donnelly. Seeing a potential star in the making, and someone to befriend, she took him in under her wing. Wanting to help him bloom, she taught him everything she knew. The Opera Phantom found that her companionship caused her respect for Christian to grow into affection. However, she was not the only one after his heart. There was also Raquelle de Costa, a muscular Cuban with a jovial grin and a knack for swordplay. While there is some tension between the two, they both are respectful of eachother and will be happy with whoever he chooses. Ericka is only truly angered when after suceeding in getting Christian to star in her masterpiece, he is sabotaged by the jealous primadonna Carlton. In a fit of ghostly rage, she accidentally causes the chandelier of the theatre to fall. While nobody was killed, she is ashamed and decides she needs time away from the theatre, to help people in safer environments. In a safer theatre, she finds a ghost in a tuxedo weeping with joy at her performance. He introduces himself as Ignacio and says it looks like she could use a friend.

While Ericka wished desperately to be a star, Christian is more than content to be an understudy. He mostly just sings for the fun of it and doesn’t get why Carlton is such an asshole about being the star of the show. He’s more than happy to let the guy flame himself out of the business. However he would like to stick it to the diva in some way, so he gladly takes lessons from Ericka and learns her story. He also is smitten with Raquelle, a dashing Cuban fencer but is too shy to say admit his feelings for them, unaware they have a crush on him too. Raquelle is a buff yet jovial person, loves riding on horseback and making people blush. They feel pity for the Phantom for their past, but have a somewhat tense relationship with them over their shared love of Christian. It is only after a conversation and duel for Christian’s love (which Raquelle eventually wins) that they truly begin to bond. Raquelle helps Christian and Ericka to expose Carlton’s sabotage of Ericka’s play, and Christian and Raquelle eventually get together.

A affluent prima donna, Carlton is used to getting his way and being the star. Sure he’s talented, but because of this, he sees himself as untouchable, a higher being than the untalented commoners. He happened to have the best trainers due to his wealth, and he frequently flaunts his accomplishments. Ericka has never liked him since anytime she submits a play with the help of Madame Grigoravich, he’s changed the role to keep himself in a positive light or to influence the show to increase his fame. He despises Christian as a lowly understudy and for being a “lowlife Irishman”. When he finds out that Christian will be starring in one of the Phantom’s new operas, he is insanely jealous. Paying some people to rough him up, he begins to try and sabotage the play. This causes the Phantom to get furious, and with the help of some distraction by Raquelle, she humiliates the man once and for all.

Dahlia Winters as Madame Grigoravich and Ayesha Reynolds as Mika Grigoravich

Madame Grigoravich is Ericka’s oldest ally, having mentored the girl and protected her from the bullying she faced by aristocratic members of the theatre and jealous star students. After becoming a Phantom, Ericka showed her gratitude to her old teacher and caretaker by helping her out with her life. She befriended her daughter Mika and made sure that people respected her paintings. In turn, Mika has painted several pictures showcasing the Phantom’s story and made art for her musicals. It made her happy to introduce a new mutual friend in Christian to Ericka, and she soon joined his and Raquelle’s friend group after the Phantom left to find herself.

Here's the fourth movie! As you see me & Weeby made some changes from the Phantom of the Opera movie. Something to add for Artsy's interviews is that all movies are directed by Nino & written by Marc & Alya. What's Adrien and Austin A's relationship like since they're both optimistic blondies?

Hmm, I'd say they get along pretty well. Not besties, but definitely friendly. Adrian would certainly feel happy in being the one to show someone things for a change instead of being the one out of the loop.
