Austin Butler Dad Headcanons

❁ your pregnancy with Austin was completely unplanned

❁ you became pregnant in 2016, and your daughter was born in 2017

❁ Austin was terrified, to put it in simple terms, but he was ready to have a child with you

❁ Austin is also a girl dad, just like Jerry. I don’t make the rules sorry

❁ he helped deliver your daughter, and he got lightheaded from seeing her head come out of you (not that he told anyone, though)

❁ he refused to cry when he held her for the first time, but he crumbled when she opened her eyes and looked straight at him

❁ Austin buys the cutest and frilliest outfits for your daughter. he loves putting her in dresses and little shoes and putting bows in her hair when it’s long enough. now that she has long hair as a toddler, he braids her hair and does fun hairstyles with it

❁ when Austin gets the role of Elvis, the three of you pack up and move to Australia. by the time you move there, your daughter is old enough to walk and talk and understand basic things, so having her in a new place is interesting, to say the least

❁ “daddy, why did that man sound funny?” “when people sound different when they speak, it’s called an accent.” “oh. daddy, I want an accent!”

❁ taking your daughter to the beach was a normal occurrence back home, so she knows how to behave when you’re all able to go to the beach between filming

❁ but now that your daughter is old enough to wear proper bathing suits, Austin, of course, has the get the girliest one ever

❁ raising a toddler to be a functioning member of society when the world has shut down is challenging, and adding onto one parent doing method acting and being super busy 24/7 adds to the difficulty.

❁ Austin still did his best to be there for your daughter, especially when everything she’s just grown accustomed to has now changed for who knows how long. he’s a very patient person, especially when it comes to children

❁ while in Australia, when Austin has any free time whatsoever, he’s teaching your daughter how to read and attempt to write, even if it’s just terrible scribble lines

❁ when your daughter turns 4, she can actually write her name somewhat, thanks to Austin’s hard work

❁ by the time filming ends and the pandemic isn’t as intense, your daughter can begin going to school when you get back to California. Austin refuses to send her to public school after what has been happening in the last year- he doesn’t think it’s as safe or suitable

❁ there’s a slight disagreement there at first, but you understand where he’s coming from and eventually agree to homeschool

❁ when Austin is struggling with his imposter syndrome after filming ends, and he’s getting back to who he is, your daughter is there to ground him

❁ Austin makes sure to introduce your daughter to different media like instruments, art, music, theater, sports, and more

❁ he wants her to explore everything so she can have social hobbies outside of homeschool and enjoy the finer things in life

❁ when Elvis premieres a little over a year after filming wraps, everything changes overnight for your family

❁ Austin makes sure to protect you and your daughter no matter what, even if his newfound fame has taken over your lives more than expected

Austin Butler Dad Headcanons II

>> I love Halloween so this was fun and cute to write 🥺 I’m kind of thinking of writing a whole ficlet for having Halloween with your son if y’all want it! just lmk if that’s something that interests you guys. I hope y’all enjoy!

❁ you and Austin would have the cutest son who has Austin’s lips and your eyes

❁ finding out you were pregnant with your son was the best day of Austin’s life. you had been casually trying for a while and finally it worked

❁ your son was your first child together and was surprisingly a great baby. he didn’t fuss too much and slept through the night most of the time

❁ Austin willingly would get up in the middle of the night when your son would cry and let you get your rest

❁ your son’s first word was “dada” and Austin was extremely emotional upon hearing it

❁ as your son gets older, he learns how to walk and talk better. Austin, despite being busy with acting, makes sure to spend everyday trying to teach him how to walk without assistance and say simple words.

❁ Austin makes sure to let your son know it’s okay to express emotions no matter if they’re good or bad. toddlers are very emotional beings and it’s vital they learn it’s okay to be upset sometimes

❁ Austin also lets your son play with whatever he wants however he wants, whether it’s playing pretend dress up or racing Hot Wheels

❁ when your son starts preschool, it’s challenging. your son is used to being at home and is reluctant to start school, but when Austin coaxes him to meet other kids and tells him he’ll have fun, your son gives in

❁ okay but imagine Austin and your son having matching costumes for the preschool’s Fall Festival

❁ they’re something adorable like Batman and Robin or Mike and Sulley from Monsters Inc

❁ your son excitedly pulls the two of you to every stall and introduces you to his friends he’s made

❁ your son begs Austin to get his face painted with him and at first Austin tries to make excuses as to why he can’t, but he eventually gives up

❁ Austin gets his face painted like a tiger and your son gets his painted like a monarch butterfly because “the colors were super cool”

❁ the two of them spend the rest of the evening watching kids Halloween movies and eating (a limited amount, of course) of candy you all acquired from the festival

❁ you make sure to step back and give them their special time together

❁ the night of Halloween starts out rocky. your son is cranky and doesn’t wanna cooperate with his costume

❁ your son snuck in the living room one night and sat behind the couch while you and Austin watched Halloween. neither of you had any idea he was watching until you were going to bed and he was curled up behind the couch

❁ he insisted on being Michael Myers after that and didn’t even have a nightmare after watching the movie

❁ so he’s mad currently and doesn’t want to put on his mask. Austin threatens to not let him watch Halloween with you all tonight after you three got home and settled

❁ your son quickly wipes his tears and gets himself together and Halloween is a success

Angel Headcanons pt.2

"As in the RG and UG, Angels have created a web of social schema to guide their activities. The role of Producer is just one cog in the Angel machine." -- Hanekoma

After doing a few Angel reports, I've decided to make an official post with my headcanons for the different kinds of Angels that can apply to the TWEWY-verse! That includes what they do, how their powers level with a Composer's, and where they fall in the Angels' hierarchy.

The following is heavily based off of Christianity's angelic hierarchy, though there are things that are purely headcanon here, too.

With that said!

Amongst all of the Angels in the Higher Plane, the one on the lowest rung are Angels themselves. They and a number of Angels above them in the hierarchy follow along these headcanons for the most part!

Every Angel in existence was a Player who chose to ascend once they won the Game. Players with a fantastic amount of imagination are granted such a wish and ascend; it wouldn't be too wild to say that the first rung consists mostly of newer Angels and ex Players who just tumbled out of a Game. Despite having a significant power boost and new, nifty abilities, an Angel's actual power strictly rivals that of the Composer in the area they are in - in fact, they could be a few notches weaker than the Composer. That, and Angels are to follow along every order that is given to them by, well, everybody else. Any resistance would turn them into a Fallen Angel.

While they might not be the strongest of the Angels, they are the ones who do the most - if not all the - fieldwork. They go into areas with Undergrounds and observe Games in person, picking up any disorder or rule breaking as they come. The handy part about this is their ability to do their work without getting noticed. ("Angel vibes are extremely high-frequency; not even the Composer can catch them all." -- Shiki Day 5.) They're like friendly neighborhood spies in that case!

So, what if they do pick up disorder? They report it, certainly. The ones who hear such reports first are Archangels. These kinds of Angels - and pretty much everybody above these guys - reside rather strictly in the Higher Plane, and rarely visit the lower planes. If an Angel's report contains a threat that isn't devastatingly serious, then the Archangels are the ones to tell the Angel what to do.

- I'd like to think that, for each area, there are at most seven Archangels stationed in the Higher Plane version of it. So Shibuya could have seven or so Archangels just sitting around in it, twiddling their thumbs and bossing Angels around all millennium long.

Also, while Archangels are a step above Angels, they don't get much of a power boost. They are still given power that would strictly rival the area Composer's strength.

Then there are Principalities/Rulers - or Producers, if you would! Producers have the ability to make any and all Pins, but only if they are requested to make such things. They can also interact with the Underground in a way that's a bit more flexible than a number of the other Angel ranks. That, and only one Producer exists in an Underground area. Composers can pinpoint their Producer's vibes, making this Angel a unique one!

After that, there are the Virtues. Basically, if there's an issue that can't be solved just by an Archangel's verdict, the problem's handed off to these guys. These Angels are strict with rules and order, and they've got a good sense of that kind of business, too. Though they are strictly Higher Plane based, they can, and will, appear in the Underground if a really serious issue comes up - and boy, do they have the power to do it.

Next are the Dominions - or Composers! They are a type of Reaper that can also be identified as Angels, though the latter sounds a bit more accurate. You guys should be familiar with these guys, so I won't dive too heavily into this role; however, I will say that the Composers are extremely important and unique. Their role can't compare with the rest of the Angels', and the actions and decisions that the lower Angels make are based on what the Composer does (or doesn't) do.

While Composers are powerful and hold a lot of influence in the Angels' actions, they also hold an immense amount of responsibility. Stepping out of line could end the lives of many innocent people and cost a city its existence; for that reason, the Angels keep a strict eye on Composers and their Games. So despite the Composer being significantly strong, even the lowest rung of Angeldom can verse a Composer rather well, for the sake of order.

After the Composers are Angels that are abstract, at most. Thrones, Ophanims, and Cherubims all level with each other with the most part. There isn't much known to them, other than they look as if somebody decided to scribble a bunch of Noise marks and plaster it onto peoples' bodies. They stand for justice, authority, and order; they determine how Underground disorder should be dealt with, but never ever go down there themselves to handle such matters.

And who tells them what's right or what's wrong? Seraphim. However, nobody - not even the Cherubims and their friends - will ever get to see a Seraph in their existence. However, Seraphim know everything about the world and the planes - including every Alternative Universe imaginable, as well as every past that has taken place. They are unbelievably knowledgeable and wise, definitely.

But how do we know that they exist for sure?

Something to think about, I bet.

In the end, Angels exist in order to protect humanity and maintain order. Meanwhile, the Composer's job is to help humanity and creation thrive.

Whoa, story time. Or should I say, Austin's dating history time. (There's a bit of a backstory before the actual subject, though. Whoop-)

If people are familiar with Maui, then they'd probably know bits and pieces about a boy named Seferino. If not, well! I'll do a cap on him right here.

Seferino Hielo was a boy who lived in Rome, Italy, with Austin. He and Maui were penpals, and constantly mailed each other. The thing about Maui and Seferino - if you folks were around in W3 - was that Maui had a big crush on the dude. It was that crush that made him her entry fee when she entered the Game.

What Maui didn't know, was that Seferino had a crush on her back. He was convinced that she didn't like him the same way, though - and it looks like neither of them will ever get to say anything now.

But back when Seferino was still around, he was known for being spontaneous and extremely expressive. Even the smallest bit of upsetness or anger is hyper amplified with him. While this is great when he's happy, he can become really hard to handle - violent, even - if he's feeling even the least bit negative. The poor kid didn't have that many friends for that reason.

While he did have a crush on Maui, Seferino also found a friend in Austin - who was, at the time, having some serious issues and not-so-great feelings at the time. Though Seferino did prevent the other boy from committing suicide in many occasions, his presence wasn't the absolute healthiest. After a while, Austin developed patience towards the other - but that's as far as he'll ever go in terms of feelings.

Seferino, meanwhile, wasn't doing all that well with his crush on his penpal. So he took those feelings out on Austin.

Sure there were endearing gestures, like dates and presents. But there were things that Seferino did that didn't settle well for the other boy at all. It was an unhealthy relationship at least - but, as stated before, Austin was patient. It was the least he could do for somebody who was constantly saving his life, right?

Because of that, Austin's really scared of doing things that can upset or harm Echo anybody that he falls in love with. At the same time, he KNOWS what's okay to do and what isn't; he's just really terrified of doing something that'd hurt them.

- Oh, and when everything's said and done, Austin realized that the stuff Seferino did was really bad, and his way of treating it was really bad. He doesn't talk to Sef anymore. The end!

Dumb Clubmix Quetzalcoatl things and Austin things and YEAH

Austin's new to the whole Angel and Noise business, so the whole concept of having a Noise form is REALLY COOL FOR HIM. So far, he only used his Noise form twice, and in very quick instances, too; whether he'll use it for longer periods of time in the future, we'll have to see!

He really loves his Noise form, though. It's enormous size makes it difficult for him to navigate through the crowded streets of Shibuya, unfortunately, so he can't use it all that often. However, if asked about it, he'd sure as heck show it off!

In dumber news; it's been done a few times already, but Austin picked up the odd habits of rumbling, growling, and hissing (even more than he usually does). Rumbling can be the equivalent to purring or distress-like sounds, depending on the situation. It isn't all that loud of a sound, and is mostly something that can be heard/felt if one stood close to Austin. Actions such as petting his wings or soothing/affectionate gestures would he do the rumbling thing.

Growling could also vary, but it's most likely a bad thing if he growls. And hissing is bad on all fronts except for one thing but you guys are really awful so. Doing things that truly irritate him will result in one of the two.

Austin + Angel Headcanons

BUCKLE UP, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN. HAVE SOME HEADCANON THINGS ABOUT AUSTIN AND ANGELS.

Angel Headcanons (That all apply to Austin):

Angels are immortal. They can only die through erasure.

Angels possess powers that can easily rival - and even surpass - a Composer's. However, they cannot attack anybody freely. Only when there's disorder that would severely unbalance an Underground plane would an Angel interfere. (Situations such as a Reaper killing a living citizen, or an Officer goes haywire, and things the Composer can't/refuses to accomplish.)

Angels have Noise forms. (Austin's is Clubmix Quetzalcoatl.)

Angels have free reign over the Underground. They can jump easily between different versions of an Underground - Alternate Universes, if you would! - and can perform mild time traveling. The things Angels witness in these AUs are to be kept a secret.

An Angel's appearance depend on (a) how mature they [pretend to] feel at the moment, (b) the age they entered Angelhood, or (c) the plane/universe they are in at the moment. In other words, they can alter their appearance rather freely.

An Angel's power weakens/strengthens according to the plane and (A)U they reside in. For Austin, he is weak in the static plane, and is weakest in an AU's static plane. Meanwhile, he's powerful in the Higher Plane, and is unbelievably powerful in canon TRG's Higher Plane.

Though Angels can teleport as they please, they can make wings appear/disappear from their back. Angel wings, like Reaper wings, hold their power. (See Austin's headcanons for his case.)

Angels can create Noise pins. Only Producers can create other pins, and they can do that only by request.

Austin's Headcanons (And Angel ones that are Austin exclusive.):

One never really knows how much Austin knows when one speaks to him. He could know enough to turn people inside out if he wanted to; or, he could know exactly what's going to happen to them in the future. And the worst part is, not a soul would be able to tell.

There are times when Austin acts way too maturely for his own age(?). Side effects from being an Angel.

Austin's wings are a bit smaller than a regular Angel's. He's new to the job, after all! He can fly with them, too; however, he tires out very easily. And at the moment, he doesn't know how to fly that well at all-

On the subject of wings, he doesn't mind it when people touch them. However, he wouldn't let strangers hold them ever. (Back rubs are great, too; those things aren't light, you know.)

His role will not be told to anybody beyond the W6 crowd. If W7+ people find out that he's an Angel, he'll request that they keep it a secret, and leave it at that.

Austin will be FRIENDS 9EVER WITH THE W6 CROWD. He'll honest to God appear if anybody calls for him. ("Oh snap, my W6 senses are tingling." -phases out and in to where everyone else is-)

Austin still runs Panacea Python, but Angel duties will have him disappearing from time to time. (He hired Setsuna - a Reaper - who'll watch over his shop when he does.)

Expect a lot of Pit impersonations.

Over all, he's pretty much Austin with wings and new ultra-mature tendencies. The end.
