Pete has taken full advantage of the glorious weather here today by painting a few things outside. We have a gîte here in which the previous owner had left a couple of nice pieces of French furniture. We loved the little dresser in the kitchen, so Pete has mixed up a colour using Autentico Vintage in ‘Gers Bleu’ with a couple of other shades to get the right match. This previously plain white little stool now matches perfectly. This was a very dark mahogany table with many scratches which was heading for the skip. Pete was so keen to get started on it that he forgot to take a ‘Before’ photo, because he knew exactly what he wanted to do to it to complement it’s beautiful shape. It was prepped with Autentico Omniclean, scratches filled with wood filler, primed with Autentico Primer and then marbleised using several different shades of Autentico Vintage grey paints.
