so I recently watched Yesterday (2019) on a plane and I can't recall if this is a movie you've seen but no one else in my life will laugh at this so I wanted to report that not only did the plot have the Beatles disappear completely from world history, but they include a second, follow-up joke where the main character is checking to see if other bands have vanished and he confirms that there’s no Oasis anymore either and he's just like. yeah okay. that one makes sense.
ahskffkfkfkfk I haven't seen Yesterday in years but! I'm with him. that one makes so much sense. I want to believe the gallaghers are in 2019 like, getting regular groceries after working regular jobs when they hear the not-beatles over the radio for the first time and have epiphanies in the pasta aisle
