Finally finished citadel of the autarch today, and by extension the complete book of the new sun. This has been one of the most dense, challenging, complex, yet ultimately rewarding reading experiences I've ever had. Definitely a book I'll carry with me for a long long time. I'm at once tempted both to immediately move onto the next parts of the solar cycle, and to take a long break from the series to let it fully settle into my mind
