I am posting more romance author Tadashi thoughts today.

Basically the idea is that Tadashi asks Reki to help him find interesting people at their school in exchange for dating advice.

I'm reworking backgrounds a bit, but-

One of the first people Reki introduces Tadashi to is second year Sakurayashiki Kaoru. Kaoru has long hair and piercings paired with a shitty attitude and the fact that he is the smartest kid in his grade. He gets into trouble constantly and people tend not to like him.

Tadashi thinks it is classic bad boy stuff, but so far Kaoru is only proving to be a dick. Then Reki pulls Tadashi along to the art class where he meets a much softer side of Kaoru.

Kaoru and Tadashi don't really get along but he makes for a great character. He doesn't need it but Tadashi would love to find him interacting with a possible love interest and it would be perfect.

Okay brief author!tadashi brain.

After refusing to write about Ainosuke they still need to find someone to be the love interest. Tadashi decides it is better of he doesn't see Kaoru interact with them because then he can make up a dynamic between them.

Reki isn't really sure who he should introduce Tadashi to now so Tadashi decides to look on his own. Given that Kaoru is an artist he opts to go look for a jock since it makes for a cute couple.

Now that is something Reki can help him with. He introduces Tadashi to Langa and Tadashi decides right away that Langa wouldn't go well with Kaoru, but Langa knows other people on some of the teams.

That is how Tadashi meets Kojiro who plays on the soccer team. It is hard to believe that this guy flew under his radar considering how charming he seems to be. Tadashi decides that outgoing, charming Kojiro would go perfectly with Kaoru and decides to write about them... for now.

Au where everyone is middle/highschool aged and Tadashi is a romance novelist who bases his novels on real people. Anyway he is looking for people to use as inspiration when he meets a first year named Reki who is much more outgoing then him. He asks Reki for help finding "interesting characters". In exchange Reki gets dating advice for the boy he likes.

I have ideas for Kaoru and Ainosuke. Oh! Also none of them know each other. They are all being brought together because Tadashi wants to write about all of them.
