Whenever I post I feel like I need to add in a quick little- "if you take this in a ship direction/direction i didn't intend for then plow forward in that direction!"

Anyway- back to the au (which was originally renga but pfft now we are doing this)- Reki goes to Cherry seeking a job because it turns out he is far too clumsy to be a waiter for Joe and apparently his style doesn't mesh well for a florist shop... Tadashi’s job seems boring and Reki is still a little weirded out thanks to the love hotel incident.

He is just trying to figure out what to do with himself and Cherry seems like he has it all together (and also Cherry is an artist and it would be super cute for them to connect over that).

So Reki, freshly broken up with and disappointed by the other idiots friends in his life, goes to Cherry. His only mission really is to learn and try and get an idea of what he wants to do with himself. Cherry originally doesn't want to help, but Reki is stubborn and doesn't give up and honestly it reminds Cherry of someone else in his life. He takes Reki in as a student of sorts. Mainly helping with board builds and being a bit of a life coach.

They grow closer and Cherry finds him... ~amusing~. A couple years pass until Reki’s birthday rolls around and he drops in with a bottle of wine.

"Reki you aren't permitted to drink in here. It is illegal-"

"Reki just turned 20 years old master" Carla chimes in helpfully.

"I thought we could celebrate" Reki has this easy grin. He has a stubble on his chin and this soft look in his eyes. There is no way wine is a good idea, but Reki clearly took time choosing it out and Cherry has a hard time saying no to the boy these days.

Reki wants to open the bottle right away, but Cherry says something about doing this right.

"You went through the trouble of buying an expensive bottle right? Come over to my place after work and we can celebrate properly," Cherry decides. He doesn't leave room for an argument and Reki doesn't argue (he enthusiastically agrees).

Cherry has had the bottle before. He knows what pairs well with it. He opens the door to a well dressed Reki (Cherry teases him about it and pops a couple buttons on the other’s collar for him).

They drink and eat and talk so Reki can go on and on and on. And then Cherry is listening and watching and Reki’s hair could use a cut and he seriously needs to learn how to shave. All while he is getting closer and then Reki is pressing his lips to Cherry’s and since when has he been taller?

Reki insists that he is rusty not unpracticed and Cherry gently guides him through everything all while "please call me Kaoru right now". So now Kaoru has to guide an over eager Reki and have him tone it down a notch.

Kaoru is massaging his shoulder roughly and having him relax. Kaoru is bringing him to bed and having him lay down. Kaoru is asking if he has ever taken anything before. And then when Reki shakes his head since he had bounced from his break up stage to having eyes for the calligrapher he didn't have a lot of time to get experience elsewhere. Kaoru is gentle with him (surprisingly so) and Kaoru makes a mess of him until Reki is panting and Kaoru is laying next to him.

Of course Kaoru then goes through the "it was a one time thing" the very next day, but Reki is hyper aware that Kaoru can be a whole lot meaner in bed and he wants to see that side of the calligrapher.

Halloween Ask!!!

Have we thought about alpha Kojiro and Kaoru with omega Reki and Langa? Have we?

Plot wise as them all growing up in a society where they are expected to be with someone who they don't necessarily love is super interesting with Kaoru and Kojiro assuring Reki and Langa that they can be together.

Reki presents first and Langa a little later. Nobody had thought either of them would be omegas but whatever. Anyway their heats sync up fairly quickly and it is quite obvious that they spend them together. Very quickly the two get clingy to Joe and Cherry who are trying their best to be responsible but the younger two could care less about being responsible.

They are begging and whining and they smell so fucking good. Kojiro would probably break first and he is exhausted by the end of that. Kaoru is a little more responsible, but then his rut rolls around unexpectedly thanks to Reki and Langa trying to scent him all the time. Kojiro is busy and Reki and Langa are there with this evil look in their eyes before they end up helping Kaoru.
