I've said this once I'll say it again: I REALLY want Tumblr author moots 😭 not just the type of moots who follow each other but moots who are friends and we can talk to each other about our books etc

Esp if: you're an indie author, you write fantasy/horror/thriller, you have Insta/TikTok (because I really want author friends on there too!!)

I also hope that your words are behaving! Mine are actually being a little elusive tonight, but I can't blame them entirely. I'm working on chapter one of my second book, and I always struggle with opening chapters.

I'm actually a new follower of your tumblr too. I spotted one of your posts a couple of days ago. We have a couple of things in common, such as being writers over 30, fantasy fans, plus a witchy-background and I'm always looking to connect with other authors, so I dropped you a follow ^_^

I read over your intro for Under the Rainbow and it sounds brilliant! I can see a lot of potential in a club that caters to the unusual!

Who's your favourite character to write? Or if you don't have a favourite character yet, which magical species are you most looking forward to exploring? (I saw mention of selkies, witches, and shifters, and I'm intrigued!)

Writeblr? Is Anyone Still Out There?

Well... I can't sleep so, I figured I'd come on here and ask.

Is Writeblr still a thing? -and it doesn't even have to be Tumblr based really. I mean, I didn’t post on here much before, not even when I was a teenager but, I vividly remember there being an incredibly large writer/author following and I’m wondering if there still is. If so, I’m looking to make some new author friends.

So, if you want to discuss writing, books, or bounce OC’s off of each other, and just other general stuff like that please let me know. I’m not really sure where else I can find a writing community and author friends. I’ve been in a couple writing groups on Facebook but, that grew old kind of quickly. Everyone is more worried about their stories being stolen, or bragging, than actually building a community. (Not to mention some people can be super snobby and ignorant and... I'm just not here for it.)

So… friends? Or if you know where I can find friends, let me know?
