Have you ever read Chrysalis by cunninglingus on ao3? It is absolutely delicious and I feel like it’s something you would enjoy.
I haven’t read beyond the first chapter yet, but I’ve got it safely stashed in my bookmarks with a “definitely to read” note on it. That work is already a great comfort to me because it’s a 6-year-old WIP, so I feel like cunninglingus and I are that “two men with arms clasped in solidarity” meme when it comes to taking years to update/complete a fic. 😂😭
