Had an exciting weekend at Authorcon V in Williamsburg VA! Love everything they do here and everyone is so accepting!! Day 3 about to start, gonna go buy some books!!
Last night in 30 minutes they raised nearly $2000 for breast cancer!
just got done attending authorcon this year! it was so much fun and i met so many wonderful people!
my favorite thing was how inclusive they were! i was able to walk around with my he/she pronouns freely and proudly.
i heard the edgar allen poe performance was stunning! (i was in a wotkshop i had bought a ticket for at the same time). i made some connections and got some amazing story ideas!
i even stuck $5 in the grim reaper's bra during the breast cancer bra walk!
all the panels i attended were great too! the queer rep panel, the folklore panel! the trauma panel was so cool too.
i cant wait to go back next year!

George walked over and I was like “babe, I found the artwork I really want!” I’m like “Awesome baby, lets check it out!” He wanted ask me before he got it! It’s definitely getting framed in the living room. This experience was unforgettable. George was blushing and the artist wanted a picture with him holding the art work and us as a couple.
