Introduction

Hi, I’m Katie.

I have been on tumblr for a number of years, and dabbled in writing marvel fanfiction, and decided that it would be a good place to set up shop with an author page.

I have been obsessed with fantasy ever since my mum read Lord of the Rings to me when I was younger. I borrowed all the books I could from my aunt’s fantasy collection over the years and binge watched TV shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Charmed, but it wasn’t until I was older that my love for fantasy grew from epic to paranormal romances and urban fantasies.

When I’m not writing, reading or daydreaming about anything fantasy whilst waiting patiently for my own Dragon Shifter to whisk me away I can be found obsessively buying stickers and journaling supplies, obsessing over fictional men, playing State of Decay 2 and other fantasy/horror games or binge watching a TV series that captures my attention. I have a deep love for Bucky Barnes, and enjoy photography, baking, music, marvel and I enjoy all creative arts overall.

I'm Lara, a mom of 2 (working on a third through adoption!). Website consultant by day, freelance editor of fiction and comics by night, writer ... whenever I can run away for a few hours. 📚 WORKS 📚 My current WIP is a middle-grade graphic novel. Waiting for publication is a short comic I wrote for an anthology coming out next year.
