I know Benny doesn't appear very often. It's partly because he's getting old (8 yrs.) & never really liked being handled. He's now adjusting to new family members who joined our household in the past week. Never forget the pets you already have when you bring home someone new. The white seen in Benny's eye isn't a trick of light. He developed cataracts in both eyes recently, seemingly overnight. Providing rabbits with a safe environment is imperative to their longevity. I never allowed my rabbits to have run of the house, because we've always owned dogs. They received their playtime in a pen dedicated to their use instead. This means Benny can still enjoy his cardboard box demolitions, even though he can't see anymore. I love my little Chai-Chai. Even on my worst days, when I feel like garbage, this sweet little rat knows how to cheer me up. 💜🐁🐀 .
