The struggle of writing

I felt the need to write this post because I have a few things to say that I think might help the people like me. Awhile back I finally published my first book, I self published via Amazon. I chose that route mostly because I felt I could market myself and sell a few copies. I just wanted to get my words out there and have people share in the adventure of my story. The book sold well and I am very proud of it. Now it's on to the second one... or so I thought.

I work a full time job, have two horses I have to keep in shape, daily adulting things to do, and I attempt to have a social life. By the time it gets time to write, I'm either to pooped to do it or lack the creative juices to form any sort or flow to the story. It's all trapped in my head and I can't get it out. It's frustrating when all you want to do is write and tell a story but lack the time to do it.

With all that being said, I like to keep the hope alive that in the near future I’ll finish book two. Because the struggle of writing, is not writing itself but finding the time to put pen to paper.
