Spoils of the Hunt: Autism ROCKS.

The first series are all agate and beach glass, with and without backlighting so you can see the shiny. Then there’s the Curiously Symmetrical Stones i could (and can still) not get enough of. They’re just so god. damned. symmetrical.

I’ve never found any agate on the north shore before, despite my best efforts. my one agate find until this week was in Coon Rapids river gravel (thank you glaciers). And now look at this.i found handfuls. Aud found handfuls on her first hunt. Jess found a fucking gorgeous one but i didn’t get a pic before they left.

Mystical beach of glowing treasures. As soon as i get my tooth ache looked at and my meds re stabilize I’m back up there hovering like a horse fly.

Holy shit what a haul. And this isn’t even the whole of it!

Review: Prince’s invitation-only show at Pacha Ibiza Dubai | The National

Resplendent in a shiny suit, the singer took the stage at a fund-raiser for the charity Autism Rocks – and put on one of the best gigs the UAE has ever seen.

From 2015: Shows such as this aren’t, for Prince, strictly a new thing – he performed numerous, unadvertised and cheaply ticketed "guerrilla gigs" across London this time last year to glowing five-star reviews. Fans still gush about his last "secret" gig in the UAE, at the Yas Island Skybar in 2010, two nights before his headline F1 slot. But geography dictates that casual concerts such as this are rare in the Middle East, and both Prince and Autism Rocks deserve credit for offering a night that will rightly go down in UAE folklore among the most treasured collective musical memories.
