Liko has a Sprigatito plush from her childhood that she needs to sleep with almost every night. it's her comfort plush! However, the real Sprigatito gets a little jealous and will take the plush out from her arms and take its place while Liko is sleeping.
It was a beautiful sunny day and the weather was perfect. In a field near a forest and stream, the Rising Volt Tacklers were enjoying the great outdoors with a fun picnic. They needed a break from trying to find the six heroes and a picnic sounded great, so they made a stop to relax a bit. And what was even better was that Dot decided to join them. Liko was very happy about that.
The crew had just finished making some sandwiches and the three kids were happily munching on their food. Roy was the first one to be done so he decided to go play in the field with Crocalor and Kilowattrel, leaving Dot and Liko to talk amongst themselves. However, just talking eventually got boring. Two socially awkward teenagers talking with no conversation starters prepared were bound to end poorly. But Liko got an idea.
“Friede? Can Dot and I go explore the forest a little? My phone is charged and there should be signal!” Liko proposed. Friede contemplated his decision, but eventually sighed and nodded.
“Just don’t travel too far!” He yelled as Liko happily dragged her girlfriend into the forest.
Liko held Dot’s hand and smiled, humming happily as they walked through the shaded trees and trying to fill out their pokedexes. They spotted lots of new pokemon and told each other the interesting facts they found about them. They both loved talking about Pokemon and getting new information about them.
They walked deeper and deeper into the forest, but would always make sure they knew how to get back. It was really fun! Until they came across a path over a pretty big ditch. Liko loved adventure and the thrill of danger so she stepped up and walked along the path. It was a bit nerve wracking, considering the ditch was deep but it was fun. Dot followed behind her, making sure to watch where she was stepping, not wanting to fall.
As they continued to walk the path, Liko suddenly spotted a shiny Fletchling. She ran, wanting to catch up with it. This was the first shiny she’s seen in the wild (not counting rayquaza) and she really wanted to get a picture of it.
“Liko! Slow down, you don’t want to trip!” Dot warned her. She always was a little worried about her, not wanting her to get into danger like she tended to do.
“But it’s a shiny!” Liko stressed, continuing to rush forward. She should’ve listened to Dot though because a root of a tree snagged her foot, causing her ankle to bend awkwardly to the side and making her fall into the ditch. She tumbled down and stopped at the bottom. Dot saw it all happen in slow motion. The way the inside of Liko’s heel touched her upper ankle made her wince. There’s no way she was feeling okay after that.
“Liko!” Dot quickly rushed to the edge and peered over. Liko was at the bottom of the ditch, clutching her left ankle, the one that bent way too far, and had dirty scraped all over her knees and arms. Dot slowly slid down the side of the ditch and knelt down to Liko. The girl was whimpering and breathing heavy in pain.
“It’s alright, Lemme see,” Dot tried to calm her down and see how badly she was injured. She took one look at her ankle and cringed. Yup, it was bad. They would need help.
“Liko, do you have Hattrem with you?”
“Y-yeah,” Liko grunted as she pulled her pokeball from her backpack and threw it, making Hattrem pop out.
“Hattrem, can you try healing pulse on Liko please?” Dot asked. Hattrem looked at Liko’s injury and frowned but held her hands over it and tried it anyway. Healing pulse could only do so much on humans. It could help someone's healing but not heal it fully if it was bad. The best that Hattem could do was set the bone so it’d heal correctly. As it did, Liko let out a yelp, tears falling from her eyes.
“I’m gonna call Friede, alright?” Dot pulled out her phone and dialed Friede’s number.
Liko was barely paying attention to the phone call. She was too busy writhing in pain. Her ankle throbbed and it felt like the worst thing she’s felt in her life. It was utter agony. Dot noticed how hurt she felt and pulled her head into her lap so she could scratch her scalp and play with her hair while she was on the phone, hoping to provide Liko some comfort.
The next thing Liko knew, she was being lifted into the air by Charizard as Dot and Friede tried to calm her pained gasps and hyperventilating. She was told to take some deep breaths as they flew over the forest and back onto the landed ship. Friede took her in his arms and burst open the door to the infirmary. Mollie practically jumped out of her seat, scared by the sudden intrusion.
“Friede, what the f-”
“Sorry, Mollie! We got a hurt kid here!” Friede announced, placing Liko on a stretcher with Dot following close behind. He explained what he heard from Dot to Mollie as Dot sat by her girlfriend’s side, trying to comfort her.
“It’s alright, Liko, just take some deep breaths,” Dot said to Liko and held her hand, “Friede’s gonna take your shoe off, so Mollie can get a closer look,” she warned.
Even with the warning, Liko still hissed through her teeth as her ankle was jostled, causing pain to rise back up again. Friede apologized as he cleaned a bit of dirt off her leg. Mollie put on gloves and began to slowly poke and prod at her leg.
“Does this hurt?” She asked before pushing her palm into the heel of her foot, simulating what it would be like if she were to put pressure on it. Liko yelped, squeezing Dot’s hand, indicating that it did in fact hurt.
“Can you tell me on a scale of one to ten the pain and where it is?” the doctor asked.
“L-like an 8 and right h-here,” Liko sat up a little and pointed to where it was causing her the most amount of pain.
After a few more tests and an X-ray, Liko ended up having a broken ankle. Mollie had said it was likely from rolling it from her misstep and then falling on it right after. However, Hattrem had already managed to set the bone, making the Mollies' job a bit easier. Now she needed to wrap it up in a cast.
“You’re lucky I have the materials for an actual cast and not just ace bandages,” Mollie told her as she started to work her magic. Dot was helping Liko stay calm through it all. She used her phone to show her some of her bloopers and cut out scenes from her recent video, trying to make her laugh. Luckily, it worked, and Liko was feeling a bit better.
“Alright, I’ll have crutches ordered for a pickup but until then, you’ll just rest in here,” Mollie told her as she finished up the cast. Luckily, the pain had stopped being so bad now that her ankle was elevated and she was on pain meds. After hearing this Friede left the room. Liko was a little confused and thought that he was getting bored of sitting there.
However, within a couple of minutes, Friede returned with Liko’s Sprigatito plush, her blanket, and her drawing supplies. Liko smiled when she realized that Friede wasn’t bored of her and was just trying to help make her comfortable. He also brought a couple of markers with him.
“I thought we could all sign your cast,” He said.
“That would be really nice, thank you, Friede,” Liko smiled.
“I wanna be first!” Dot spoke up and snatched a marker. She was Liko's girlfriend! She was gonna be the first one to sign her cast! It was her duty! Liko chucked and thought it was adorable how much being the first to sign meant to Dot.
Dot wrote her name in the best handwriting she could do (she didn’t write a lot) and drew a little Nidothing (gurumin) picture. After Roy heard about Liko’s injury, he immediately ran back to the ship to check in on her and also sign her cast. But in the end, everyone got a chance to sign.
Roy and Dot didn’t want Liko to feel lonely so they stayed with her for the rest of the day and snuck into the infirmary late that night to have a small sleepover with her, even though Mollie told them they couldn’t because Liko needed to rest. Liko was happy to have all her friends support and care about her. She was a little worried that her new injury would cause her to miss out on a lot, but Roy and Dot made sure she didn’t miss a single thing.
Summary: While on a date with Dot, the couple runs into Liko's old middle school bullies. Liko is worried that if Dot finds out she was bullied, she wouldn't want to date her.
Liko was very excited for her date with Dot. They had just become partners and everything was extremely new to them. It was scary and awkward but they were getting used to things. But since they were about 2 weeks in, Liko decided to officially take Dot out on a date in Paldea. She’d show her all the fun shopping and food places in Mesagoza and then take her for a walk along Poco Path. She knew that Dot wasn’t a big fan of walking, which was why Liko brought the picnic blanket so they could do some cloud watching.
Liko didn’t want to wear something too fancy, but she wanted to wear something to impress Dot a little. So she pulled a yellow cream sweater vest over her school dress shirt with a black skirt. As she was adjusting her hair, making sure it was perfect, she heard her mother yell up to her.
“Liko! Dot’s here!”
Liko perked up and quickly grabbed her bag with the blanket in it and her pokeballs.she looked in the mirror one more time before rushing downstairs, excited for her date.
When she got downstairs, she saw Dot standing in the doorway. She was wearing a navy blue jacket with green sleeves. It looked really cute on her. Liko smiled and walked up to her.
“Hi,”
“Hey,”
“You excited?” Liko asked.
“Mhm, I can’t wait to find out what activities you have in mind for us,” Dot replied. Liko smiled happily and took her hand, making her blush, before pulling her out the door, announcing to her mom that she was leaving. They started walking the path to get to Mesagoza, holding each other's hands. It was so scary but felt really nice at the same time. They were both blushy messes during the walk there, but it got worse when Liko started talking.
“Your jacket looks very cute on you, Dot,” Liko complimented.
“Oh th-thank you, Liko. You’re very cute too,” Dot’s voice cracked out of nervousness. She always got so nervous when she was complimented.
Liko didn’t know what to do next when there was an awkward silence so she started talking about how excited she was to start tera training. Anything to get rid of this awkward tension between them. She really hoped that Dot didn’t think she was too cringey.
They talked as they walked until they made it to Mesagoza. The plaza had a couple people there but it overall wasn’t too crowded. Not as much as levincia anyways. It was just enough people for it to not feel weird but also not be overwhelming.
They went to a couple of shops, tried on some hats and got some chocolate milk from the cafe. They were having a really great time. Dot was smiling and happy to be around Liko. She liked all the activities they were doing so far but kind of wanted them to just be alone for a bit. Luckily Liko was about to take Dot for a small walk so they could go cloud watching.
“Alright, I have one more thing for us to-” Liko paused when she suddenly spotted a group of girls walking past them. They were very similar and wore Naranja academy uniforms. Then it hit her. Those were the girls who used to harass her when she went to school here.
“Shit, let’s go somewhere else,” She tried walking away, holding Dot’s hands, slouching over, trying not to be seen. What would Dot think if she found out she was bullied? Dot would probably cringe. She was way too cool for her and wouldn’t want to date someone like Liko, who would cry when people made fun of her for just trying to fit in. Dot would want someone who is chill and cool. Someone who was calm and collected. Why would she ever want to date her if she found out she was such a loser back in middle school?
“Liko? Is that you?” One of the girls said. Liko stopped where she was and gripped the hem of her skirt, nervous.
“Um, y-yeah, hi,” Liko mumbled, barely looking up. She squeezed Dot’s hand instinctively. Dot looked a little confused as to why Liko was acting so odd. Was she scared of the girl?
“What are you doing back in Paldea? We all thought you were finally gone for good,” Someone from the group snickered. Dot felt a little offended. How dare she speak that way to Liko? She was gonna step up when Liko said something
“Can you guys just leave me alone?” Liko muttered. She just wanted to get out of there before they said something to make her look bad in front of her date.
“Now, Liko, why would you have us leave so quickly when you haven’t even introduced us to whoever this is?” The girl said. Liko thought that if she just played along with them and did what they said, they’d leave her alone for a bit.
“This is Dot, my…” The rest of her words were mumbled so much that no one could hear. She knew that they would make a big deal out of it but she couldn’t get out of it.
“What was that?”
“My girlfriend…” She said a little louder.
“No way, someone actually wanted to go out with a freak like you?” The girl snickered. Liko tried walking away with Dot, hoping they would just leave them alone but a kid from the group stepped in front of her.
“What’s the big rush, Loser Liko?” taunted the girl.
“Hey! Don’t you fucking call her that!” Dot defended, stepping up. She didn’t like confrontation but this was going too far.
“Listen, you really don’t want to be dating this freak. I mean, she cries over simple tests!” The girl laughed. Liko whimpered, really wanting to just curl up in a hole and hide.
“Leave us alone! Liko is perfect for who she is. Her quirks and personality makes me happy. I don’t care if she may seem “sensitive”, she is the best thing that has happened to me,” Dot rebutted before taking Quaxely out of its ball, “Quaxely, use water gun,”
Quaxely, hearing the conversation happening from the ball, knew exactly what to do. The girls shrieked as they were sprayed with water and ran off, trying to find somewhere to dry off. Liko giggled a little, kind of glad to get some petty revenge. It felt nice, being supported by Dot. But once all the girls were gone, Dot sighed in relief, “Thanks, Quaxely,” she turned to Liko, “Liko, you okay?”
“I am now,” She gave her savior a small smile.
“Who were those girls?” Dot decided to start asking the questions. She didn’t want to pressure Liko into talking but was also a bit curious.
“Let’s walk and I’ll tell you about it,” Liko squeezed her hand for reassurance and they squeezed back. She started walking with her back along Poco path with Dot and started talking about her childhood.
“So, as you know, I have autism. When I went to school here, some kids weren’t very accepting of that part of me. They’d see how easy it was to upset me and used that to their advantage for their entertainment. That’s one of the reasons I moved to Indigo academy. I- I understand if learning about this makes you not want to date me anymore,” Liko fidgeted with the hem of her skirt with one of her hands. She was still a bit worried that Dot wouldn’t want to be her partner because of this.
Dot suddenly stopped walking, causing Liko to pause in her tracks. She looked at her, but not really making eye-contact, and held her other hand that was fidgeting so now she held both of her hands.
“Liko, I don’t care that you were bullied. I- I mean I do, but not like the way you’re thinking. I like you for who you are. That’s the whole reason why I started dating you. You don’t have to be someone you’re not when you’re around me.” Dot leaned in and kissed her cheek. She wasn’t exactly ready to kiss her lips just yet. It still made Liko very flustered.
“Thanks Dot,” She breathed.
“Do you want me to drop you off at your place?” Dot asked, worried that she wasn’t feeling up to finish the date. Who would be after getting harassed?
“Not yet, I still have one more thing for us to do,” Liko smiled and pulled Dot along the path until they got to a tree. It was a big one with soft grass underneath it. She pulled out the picnic blanket and laid it on the ground. The clouds cleared up unfortunately, but that wouldn’t stop Liko from enjoying the beautiful day. She let out Hatenna and Floragato from their balls and Dot did the same with Quaxely and Tinkatink. The couple laid down on the blanket as their pokemon played around them. Their date turned out to have a happy ending even with the small conflict.
Summary: Liko has a panic attack after Sprigatito runs off in the episode "Farewell Sprigatito?"
Notes: Might do a part two where it focuses on her injury
Liko waited patiently as Mollie started to wrap up her wrist in a bandage and put a brace on it. It sucked that she ended up spraining it. She wouldn’t be able to lift things for a while and she’d have to deal with the throbbing whenever she’d move it. It wasn’t ideal but she’d make it through. After Mollie gave her a pain med to keep the throbbing down, she was going to grab Sprigatito so she and it could relax in her room. However, when she went to get it from the doorway, Sprigatito was nowhere to be found. That was worrying.
Liko started looking everywhere for it. The kitchen, the storage cargo area, her bedroom, the cockpit, and the common area, but no grass cat could be found. She decided maybe she should ask around for help. So she walked over to Dot’s room and knocked on her door with her good hand.
“Dot? I need your help with something,” She said from behind the door. Dot let her in, a little bit worried. She always was worrying about Liko and wondered what was wrong. But then she saw the brace on Liko’s wrist.
“Woah, what happened?” they asked, gesturing to her wrist.
“Sprigatito accidentally made me fall over… but I'm fine. I was actually looking for it. It seemed down and sad before Mollie treated my wrist and now it’s gone.” Liko explained. Dot hummed as she tried to put the pieces together.
“Maybe it’s hiding someplace?” Dot suggested.
“Oh, good idea! It does like to hide in places up high,” Liko remembered. The two of them walked out of the bedroom and started looking. They checked every nook and cranny, every high surface, and every sunny area, but they still could not find Sprigatito. It was really starting to make Liko panic and worry. She tried really hard not to fidget with her hands to self-soothe.
“It’ll be okay, Liko,” Dot assured her.
“I saw the small thing walking over that way,” Ludlow interrupted, pointing towards a little house in the woods.
“Really?! You saw it?” Liko asked.
“Mhm, it was going towards that house in the woods,” He explained.
“Thanks, Ludlow!” Dot thanked him as Liko dragged her off towards the woods.
They walked through the sandy desert until coming upon the forest just on the outskirts. It was surprisingly nice compared to what they just traversed through. In the forest was a huge house with tons of cat towers out in the front. In the yard was a bunch of cat pokemon. It was really cool to see! Suddenly Liko saw a Sprigatito!
“Sprigatito!” She ran towards it and tried to pet its head but it hissed at her and acted very different from her sprigatito.
Then she saw another one, and another. It was so confusing, she thought she was having some weird nightmare, but then someone got their attention.
“Can I help you two?” A woman asked. Dot immediately went ‘oh fuck’ in her head because she thought they just trespassed onto her property. But luckily, Liko was there to clear things up.
“Yes, I’m looking for my Sprigatito. I believe it ran here? My name is Liko,” She explained.
“Oh Liko! I remember you. Come sit, we can talk,” The woman smiled and led them to the staircase out front. They talked for a bit about how she knew Liko and what the big house was for. Then they started talking about why Sprigatito might be there.
“Usually, when a pokemon returns here, it means the partnership is broken,” The lady explained.
“The partnership…is broken?” Liko repeated, horrified. That couldn’t be! She and Sprigatito got along so well! How could that happen? Was she not good enough for it? Was she being neglectful? All these thoughts and worries flooded Liko’s mind and she stopped paying attention to what the woman was saying. All she could think about was how Sprigatito was feeling about her and all her mistakes that she made that could’ve affected how Sprigatito thought about her. She couldn’t stop feeling like she was an absolute failure as a trainer.
Suddenly, it felt like it was getting harder to breathe. She took short and shallow breaths as she continued to panic about the future, the past, and the present. Everything felt too much and she just wanted Sprigatito back. But what if it didn’t want to come back? Just that thought made everything so much worse.
“E-excuse me,” She quickly got up when she realized the woman and Dot were looking at her with concerned expressions on their faces. Liko ran to the side of the house where she wouldn’t be seen by anyone. She needed some space to process this if it was true and that the partnership was broken. And she needed to try and calm her down. Unfortunately though, Dot followed her.
“Liko, what’s wrong?!” Dot asked. Just that question made her start to panic. Her breathing got faster and she could feel her heart start to race. It was beating rapidly and her lungs were about to explode.
“I can’t do this, I can’t do this, I’m horrible,” She muttered fast as she hyperventilated.
“Hey, no, you are not horrible. Your partnership isn’t broken, there must be another explanation,” Dot told her, squeezing both her hands. Usually, this helped ground her but unfortunately, it aggravated her injury and she hissed through her teeth and tried to pull away.
“Shit, sorry! You’re okay. Everything is going to be okay,” Dot emphasized, cupping her cheeks, “Just take some deep breaths, stim, do whatever you need,”
Liko tried some deep breathing and rocking back and forth, trying to calm down. She tried thinking about her safe space back on the ship, holding her stuffed animal and wrapped in a soft blanket while watching fun pokemon videos. It was starting to help, imagining herself in her safe space. However, it didn’t feel like just imagining it was good enough.
There was a small meow that randomly came from above them. They both looked up, wondering what the noise was, when suddenly, Sprigatito came rushing down the cat tree on the wall and sat at Liko’s feet. The furry friend started rubbing its face against her leg and headbutting her.
Liko was a little bit scared to pet it, afraid that she’d upset it and make things worse, but Sprigatito started encouraging her by sniffing her hand and rubbing its face on it. Liko moved her legs so she sat criss-cross and Sprigatito immediately jumped into her lap. It started purring and making small biscuits on her legs, letting off its comforting scent.
Almost immediately, Liko calmed down. Just having her furry friend cuddle with her while Dot sat with her made her feel a lot better and calmer. She smiled and continued to pet her furry friend until she was back to normal.
“Thank you Sprigatito,” Liko sniffled, almost starting to cry. Sprigatito wasn’t going to leave her after all.
They went back to the lady with Sprigatito in Liko’s arms (Her wrist was in pain but she didn’t care! She wanted to hold her little bean) and explained the situation they had. The lady had suggested that Sprigatito was possibly feeling guilty and shameful for hurting Liko and was pulling away. She then told them the story of Sprigatito and its leafage.
After hearing the story, it made sense why Sprigatito ran away. Liko couldn’t help but feel a little bad, even though she knew it wasn’t her fault. She never knew how relatable her pokemon could be.
Sprigatito was willing to come back with Dot and Liko to the Brave Olivine, so they walked back to the ship as Liko was getting very tired. Post panic attack naps or cuddles were a usual must for Liko.
When they got back to the ship, Dot grabbed Sprigatito and Liko some snacks while they got comfy in their room. She came back with the food and cuddled with Liko since she wanted another human to be around for support. Both girls were a bit of a blushy mess but that didn’t stop them from enjoying the cuddles.
Prompt: Liko, Roy, and Dot have a sleepover! However, Liko needs to sleep with Sprigatito plush but she’s worried that Dot will judge her and doesn’t bring it. She ends up not being able to sleep and eventually tells Dot the reason why.
Liko was very excited for her first ever sleepover with Dot and Roy! They would be doing it in the cargo area/basement of the air ship. Roy was going to bring snacks and Dot was going to bring stuff to watch movies, and Liko was going to bring some board games. It was all very exciting. However, there was something that Liko was very worried about. Packing.
Packing wouldn’t be all that important since she could just go up to her room when she’d need something, but there was one thing that would be a little difficult to do that with. Her sprigatito plushy. She’s had it with her since her childhood. However, she was a little embarrassed to admit that she never grew out of her sleeping-with-stuffed-animals phase. So it would be almost impossible for her to get to sleep without her plushy.
No one knew about her little secret. It was super embarrassing, especially since she was supposed to be a pokemon trainer now and not some little kid. Besides, she had the real thing! But something about that plushy made it seem really important.
So Liko would have to decide whether to bring her plushy with her to the sleepover, or leave it in her room. She was sure it wouldn’t really get damaged, but the main thing she was worried about were the other’s reactions. Roy would probably be okay with it and not think of it as a big deal, but what about Dot? Dot was just so cool, there was no way she wouldn’t think she was lame for needing to sleep with her plushy.
As she finished packing, she decided not to bring it. She couldn’t risk looking uncool and childish in front of Dot. She really needed their friendship to work out if she was going to get closer to her. If Dot made fun of her for her stuffed pokemon, then that whole friendship plan would be a total bust.
They met up in the cargo storage area of the ship. It was very roomy in there and had plenty of spots for them to set up in. But they picked a spot next to the ramp because they didn’t want to get crushed in their sleep by any crates. So they set up their sleeping mats and lantern and board games and got ready for a fun night.
The games and entertainment lasted a long while until everyone started to get tired. If Roy was getting sleepy, then it must’ve been really late. So they all tucked themselves into their sleeping mats and turned off the lantern.
Roy had fallen asleep almost immediately. It was strange how someone so energetic could fall asleep that fast. Dot took a little while but soon was unconscious. That just left Liko. No matter what she did, she could just not get to sleep. It’s like her body knew her Spriggy plushie wasn’t with her.
After another hour of trying to get to sleep, she gave up. She sat up with her blankets wrapped around her shoulders and took out her stylist. Her rotom phone extended its length and she started to draw. Sure, she had an essay and math homework she needed to work on, but drawing felt better.
In the middle of the night, Dot had woken up needing a glass of water. Her throat felt dry and sore. As she looked around to make sure she wouldn’t wake anyone if she got up, she noticed Liko was drawing and very much awake.
“Hey, why’re you still up?” Dot asked. Liko almost screeched, getting jumpscared by Dot. she did not expect anyone else to be awake.
“Dot, you scared me. I- um, couldn’t fall asleep. Guess it’s one of those insomnia nights.” She chuckled nervously. Dot just didn’t believe her though. Liko was usually so honest that it was incredibly easy to see when she lied.
“But we haven’t faced any pokemon that could have given you it and you don’t have a history of dealing with insomnia,” Dot said. Liko gulped knowing she was caught. “Why can’t you fall asleep, Liko?”
“I… Will you promise not to make fun of me?” Liko said, knowing there would be no way she could lie her way out of this.
“Of course. I’m not gonna make fun of you,” Dot promised. Liko took a deep breath and started to talk.
“W-well, when i was younger, I got this small stuffed pokemon for my birthday. I would sleep with it every night. It just provided me a lot of comfort and safety. I- uh… I never grew out of sleeping with it though…” She mumbled, embarrassed. She was afraid she would look so childish and weak in front of Dot.
However, Dot listened to her and looked empathetic. She’s kind of the same but with her weighted blankets. She wouldn’t need them all the time, but on days when her anxiety was acting up when she was trying to sleep, the weighted blanket would help calm her nerves down.
“Hey, don’t worry about it. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. I’m kind of the same way with my weighted blankets. I usually need to have them to get to sleep,” Dot empathized, “Did you lose it?”
“No,” Liko shook her head, “I left it in my room,”
“Why?” Dot asked.
“I… I was scared that you’d judge me…” Liko said quietly.
“Liko… I know I can be judgmental about things, but I'd never make fun of you for something that was really important to you,” Dot explained. Liko smiled, her confidence slowly building up around her.
“Thanks, Dot.” She smiled.
“Come on, let’s go grab it. I need to get a glass of water anyways,” Dot said, standing up. She extended a hand out to help Liko up. The navy haired girl took her hand and smiled.
The two of them creeped around the ship in their pajamas, being careful not to wake anyone up. They made it to Liko’s room and Dot waited outside for her to grab it. She wanted to give her privacy. Especially since Liko never barged into her room. When she came back, she held the Sprigatito stuffed pokemon in her hands.
“Aww, that’s so cute! You were meant to have your Sprigatito, huh?” Dot cooed. Liko blushed and tried to hide her face behind her plushie as she nodded.
Dot lightheartedly chuckled at her cute antics and they soon went to the kitchen to grab their glass of water. She poured themself some water and chugged it down before getting out the juice and pouring a glass of it.
“You want some?” Dot asked. Liko did, but there wasn’t much juice left in the bottle and she didn’t want to be the one to finish it.
“I’m fine, there isn’t much juice left,” She explained. Instead of just taking the juice for herself, Dot grabbed two straws and put it in the drink. Liko’s face went bright red when she realized this.
“Come on, I know you want some. We can share,” Dot invited. Liko nervously sat down across from her and put her lips on her straw. The two of them started to drink the delicious juice. They both giggled nervously when their noses accidentally touched.
Once the juice was done and the plush was in Liko’s arms, they made their way back to the cargo storage area. After getting tucked back into her sleeping mat and blankets, Liko smiled and snuggled with her stuffed animal. Dot saw and thought it was the cutest thing in the world. Soon enough, they both fell back to sleep, tummies full with juice and Liko comforted by her stuffed animal.
