Pokemon horizons rly does need to get more popular here bc there’s very little cohesion in the ship names, AO3 will never have dedicated tags for the characters if we don’t start doing polls n shit

!! I know there are some people here who write wonderful fics that I haven’t seen on ao3, so I really encourage y’all to cross post them there and make us a little louder!

We’re still trying to see if we can Unwort the horizons Tag from the anipoke whole tag, so having more specifically Horizons fics really helps!!

As for shipping name cohesion: (listenthe—-shippingnamesarefunbutcanweconsiderjustusingsquishedtogethernames)

The ones I’ve heard so far used consistently by multiple people are:

- HorizonsShipping (Liko/Roy)

- GuruminShipping (Liko/Dot)

And someone on twt using both CapnCrunchShipping and AirFryerShipping in equal measure for Murdock/Friede (I prefer capncrunch personally but fandom poll debate seems like a good idea)

I also suggest MaintenanceCheckShipping for Orio/Molly! But if anyone has another name they like more, let’s talk about it and then all try an use it!

Perhaps a minor thing but: hey! Horizons fans are a smallish bunch right now! Lots of ppl Like horizons and not a lot of us are like… actively participating in horizons fandom fans, which is fair! But those of us that are, let’s be loud! Let’s talk to each other, post any art or writing or edit you make, any thoughts you wanna share! Don’t hesitate bcs you don’t think it’s good enough, because we really wanna see!
