Gaz who sees just how short and sore Soaps chewed nails get, starts dragging him for once weakly, 'Care days' mainly to paint Soaps nails because he chews them less when they are coloured.
Gaz who spends money to get a bad tasting top coat to put on the nails, so soap stops chewing them, because he knows Soap likes having the nails painted.
