omg yeah ughhh i remember when ppl were defending BH6 for having a ‘non-typical’ latina character when it was like no??? idc that white-passing latinx get “representation” (if u can call it that bc literally they only hinted at it in the movie). literally we get so much rep its ridiculous. light skinned poc representation is the norm pls stop.

i understand it sucks for someones identity to be invalidated bc they don't “look” like their ethnicity. but acting as if light skin isnt the standard for beauty and therefore needing to “learn to like” your “fair” skin is disingenuous.
