I’m currently dragging an agent who joined the SIS through kotet and I just really hope Fractured Alliances and/or Jedi Under Siege acknowledges this instead of just pretending he wasn’t.

i haven’t taken any agents through FA2+ yet. (actually i think my only agent in kotfetet is… still at the kaliyo chapter in kotfe, rip. one day i will reunite him with raina. one day.) i have this idea in my head it’s at least mentioned/given a nod, but? i don’t know for sure sorry D: i hope it is.

I also dragged an Inquisitor through Visions in the Dark yesterday and Valkorion’s line “don’t presume to manipulate me. We are not sith, and the dark council is dead” had both me and my quizzie so pissed off. Him because of the manipulation accusation and me because of the other part.

this is a Mood. i hate that chapter so much it is unreal. the fact it’s straight after ‘terrorism is cool kids’ doesn’t help it either lmao

getting to hang out with vette and spewie in the following episode is… okay, i would die for vette and spewie. but, yanno.

It’s not a common ship, but I have seen her paired with Marr.  Which...just because Marr isn’t a basket case like Lord Razor or a terrorist like Jadus, doesn’t mean he’s a good person.  He’s not, at all.  I also can’t help but feel that it’s another excuse to ignore Jace, who doesn’t deserve that.

honestly given all of that (yikes) then you are absolutely better off not being a part of that community. that just seems like a ... pressure cooker about to blow? like a very unhealthy place to actually be, and even I would be afraid to voice any opinion that dissented with whoever the loudest in that group was. 

it’s not conducive to a good fandom experience, and it’s certainly not conducive to protecting your individual mental health. I’m really glad you were able to avoid the worst of it. 

I feel tempted to make a joke about certain communities and their ability to delude themselves and each other (to miss narrative parallels, to be media-illiterate, to explode in the face of measured criticism with sources and examples, etc etc etc), but it doesn’t really feel funny---just worrying? worrisome? 

it’s one thing to say “I’m not here to argue, I’m just here to have fun” (and even then like ... that’s not an excuse for some otherwise unacceptable behaviors, but that’s getting into the weeds here) and it’s another thing entirely to say “everyone who disagrees with me is an anti” and that second one is often conflated with the first as if they’re both the same, and they’re ... not. not even slightly.

43. What colour scheme would your armour/robes be? I don’t want to risk looking like I stepped straight out of sithsville, but black and red is just so cool! I might opt for black/purple though.

48. Would you have survived order 66? I get self-deprecating with just about every other star wars self insert question, but I think I would and here’s why:

-I’ve always been a fairly decent dodger, and I assume if I’ve been a lifelong-trained Jedi, that talent would apply to blaster bolts.

-I’ve also been good at melting into crowds and making myself scarce. A combination of nerdery and learning to avoid people does wonders.

-The fact that I’ve never attracted amazing instructors suddenly becomes an advantage, as I’m probably not at the top of the kill list (my age also helps, I’d probably still be a Padawan at this point, albeit right at the cusp of Knighthood).

-So would I survive to anh? Canon dictates not, but damn if the inquisitors aren’t going to have to work to find me first.

Honestly the idea that Palpatine enslaved every single past Sith ever bothers me a lot. The idea of Maul having to serve his abuser again like that mostly. But also knowing the Sith of the Old Republic? They would just laugh in his face. Especially if Revan (which is a whole other can of rubber snakes in itself if Rev was one) and Vitiate were among them. Those two definitely wouldn’t cooperate.

yeah, it’s... yeah, if you say so. good luck with that grandpa. it’d be more in character for the sith to like. eat him alive for having the audacity to try.

but yeah i agree re: maul in particular. his entire story is him getting fucked over by white people, and then that? god.

soldiers with consciences who try to do the right thing for their homes and are written off as whiny/petulant by the playerbase?

they’re both firmly in the Good end of the alignment scale, even if carth is very much Lawful while koth is kicking around on the Neutral-Chaotic border. koth doesn’t have a Dead Wife Backstory though (and nor does he pick fights with teenage girls). both (can) have deeply questionable taste in women (dsf revan/banana kenobi).

koth deserves a medal and a flagship, honestly. get on that, bioware. chop chop

So I got that agent to Ossus. Shara appeared, Theron and Lana said nothing. Lana acted like him choosing the Republic was a surprise and said the “SIS has been trying to recruit you” line. Jonas just kinda laughed him off when he said “haven’t I already proven my loyalty?”

uff. that sucks. :( but feels like about standard.

I just had to block a big r*ylo the other day because they were “going dark side because sw cast members dare to talk shit about our king Rian Johnson.” And this same person kept going on about how “JJ can’t write women unlike our king Rian Johnson.” I just had to laugh at that second one.

like lbr jj does not exactly treat women characters well either (case and point: uhura in jj trek, carol marcus in jj trek, in fact just all of jj trek) but God Damn
