Program/App for typing repetitive parts?
How can I find/make something to help me type up patterns where there's blocks of the same info that I don't want to have to type out individually each time? Like how in a calculator you can hit the "division" symbol instead of always typing out "divided by" each time. I would like to push a button and an exact phrase is typed out, and I can push a bunch of buttons and their corresponding phrases will be typed next to each other
I know enough about computers to know that something like this should be possible, but not enough to know how to actually make/find the program. And I don't want to ask on more... tech-y places because they'll just be mean to me again for not knowing things. I don't know terminology and I like to draw examples on MS Paint because that's what I know!
In my head it'd be like this. You have options on one side where you can put your phrases. When you click one, it shows up on the other side, and repeatedly clicking either automatically changes it to however many repetitions you did. Or you click it and you already have the option to type in number of repetitions.
How do I do that? Or find it? Or where else can I ask for help?
