Today I was angry because someone called my functioning DISORDER a "tummy ache".
Dude, I either feel like I'm being a) stabbed/ someone is turning the acid in my intestines all the time, b) like I've been food poisoned, except it's just my body doing it's thing, c) so exhausted while also nauseous like I have the flu, d) all of the above.
Be better, society.
So I might have lupus.
My white cell count has been elevated for the past two years. They ruled out cancer (kind of), rheumatoid arthritis, lyme disease, celiac, and crohnes. My anti nuclear antibody screen was positive, plus high platelet count, white cell count, and hemoglobin. Also had low bilirubin, and blood urea nitrogen. So I dont know. I have a rheumatology appointment but it's not until December. So I was just wondering if anyone else had lupus and could give me some advice? I appreciate any help I can get! I'm just so tired and no one is telling me anything. 😭
Thoughts.
Over the passed decade or so i've found that cinematography and photography can really alleviate or rather distract my body from Lupus symptoms, ultimately allowing me to push myself through anxiety, pain and depression which use to incapacitate me. It feels encouraging.

Exploring the Connection Between Adrenal Health and Autoimmune Disorders
Are Your Adrenals Making Your Autoimmune Symptoms Worse?
The connection between adrenal fatigue and autoimmune disorders is often overlooked. When your adrenal glands are overworked due to chronic stress, poor diet, and lack of sleep, your body struggles to regulate immune responses and inflammation, leading to worsened autoimmune symptoms.
🔥 Signs of Adrenal Dysfunction in Autoimmune Conditions: ✔ Constant fatigue despite getting enough sleep ✔ Unexplained body aches and inflammation ✔ Increased brain fog and mood swings ✔ Difficulty handling stress or recovering from illness
Taking steps to balance adrenal function naturally—through stress management, adaptogenic herbs, and proper nutrition—can help ease autoimmune flare-ups.

While these conditions can certainly cause symptoms and periods of illness, the severity and frequency of symptoms can vary widely among individuals. Many people with autoimmune diseases can manage their conditions effectively through various treatments, lifestyle changes, and medications.
