AUTUMN MEMORY
autumn memory
departure as love turns cold
chasing dreams for free
fallen leaves remind
red with gold on grassy green
nights of windy chill
fire of love fades
summers eloping with you
dark clouds overhead
ill wind blowing doom
cold stab bleeding winters blues
mind in disarray
playing your game well
excuses dont plan to stay
leave me in dismay
no point shedding tears
wont help make you change your mind
hugging emptiness
happiness dismissed
broken souvenirs remain
regrets come too late
destiny revamped
never easy to forget
just cant start anew
let the time slip by
with it too the hurt may go
glad we once did love
