What May Save The World
Good Morning for a Thankful & Peaceful Thursday, 04 June 2026. I wake up today, pondering on What May Save The World in a book of fiction I wrote many years ago.
This memory rekindles quite easily my continuous life long search for peace—at first just externally, and then internally in myself. I shall share my personal reflections on this.
I recall how I am especially appreciative of people who had thanked me for little deeds I have done, much of which I have actually forgotten. It is like an imprint stamped in my soul, because I could feel this gratitude has come from the heart, honest & truthful, without me ever asking for them.
My point is I have asked and begged for many things honestly from my heart. I have never asked for gratitude nor appreciation. There’s no need to. It has always been given freely from true & honest people.
And I remember promises. Did these help me to be trusting? No. I have asked for love and care. Did they satisfy me? I think not—because they are quite simply only being promised to me.
I must say people are generally kind. Do I remember their kindness? Do I remember their helpfulness? Do I remember their generous donations? Do I remember their good companionship? Do I remember their time & sacrifice? Perhaps, now & then, or here & there. But I totally remember they thanked me for things I myself can hardly recall. Why? Because this kind of gratitude comes from the heart. That’s HONESTY—given without my asking. It is an Experience in my soul. It gives Knowledge to my mind.
This ‘Matrimonial Union’ of Experience and Knowledge produces, for me, an Understanding—that is Inner Truth. It cannot be forgotten.
Therefore, I learn for myself personally, that true GRATITUDE will and can save the world. It touches and motivate the Heart.
Thank you.
