I don’t think mare is going to die because if she does, I don’t think cal would ever be able to go on with his life (because she is the only person he has left) and I find it unlikely that victoria kills them both. What about you, do you think mare will die?
I don’t think Mare is going to die either (not to mention it would kill me and for that reason alone she isn’t allowed to). But the way I see it, the series has been about Mare’s growth as a person. She starts off hateful, and then gets betrayed and doesn’t trust anyone, including herself. She takes her anger out on others, pushes people she loves away, and becomes villainous, all while she’s just suffering inside. I think it took the horrible imprisonment in King’s Cage for her to realize that she really does need other people, and she did terrible things, but she wanted to redeem herself. At the end of King’s Cage (before the epilogue at least), she seems to be recovering, and she is working toward being her best self.
I think in War Storm, Mare is going to put her best self to work, and she will truly fight for what she believes in. Her destiny is to rise up and be really awesome. I don’t see how in any way her dying who fulfill that, so no I don’t think she’ll die.
Yeah you’re right too! Cal would be devastated and so would her family and Kilorn, and that is just not ok. Not allowed, Mare Barrow. You have to live 🙏
