Episode Review: Doctor Odyssey - S1, E13
Ep 13: Spring Break Holy cow, Steve - a spring breaker - gets overly excited and is unable to control himself. We learn that it's a disorder, which I had no idea. (I like the seemingly silly issues or disorders they bring to light).
Rosie is an alcoholic and conducts a meeting for any staff that needs it, I love it; the ship really is a floating city 💕 And here Rosie approaches Tristan with her concerns, coming from a place of love, and he shuts her down. But she offers her assistance and ear and support, if he should ever need it.
This episode was full of guest stars I recognized: Paris Jackson, Ava Phillippe, (even as a brunette she still looks so much like her mom (Reese Witherspoon) Kathryn Newton (Clair from SPN). The three "V's" really want Max, DILF (doctor I'd like to... 🤣) The lightheartedness of their flirting took a serious turn when one of them od's and then Max passes out from doing CPR. (I didn't know that was a possibility when treating someone that took cocaine laced with fentanyl).
Tristan is suffering from alcohol withdrawal (it was concerning that he said it's been 3 years since he had a day without a drink) and now he's fighting off the side effects while being very jealous of anytime Avery and Max interact. (And Max shows a bit of green eyes when he walks in on Tristan and Avery hugging.)
The end is lovely though, the three of them, together in Tristan's room; while Tristan's distress is sad, Avery and Max bookending him with their support is what I love. 😍
