This is just the Prologue

Yuuri squeezed in beside Viktor as they left the store, trying to keep his wings in tight, to keep from brushing up against anyone more than they had to. “Hm I think we have everything for dinner tonight?” He asked looking up at Viktor, then looked down into the bag. Viktor followed his line of sight taking in the contents.

“Looks like we have everything. At least every thing on the list.” He added with a grin.

“Don’t think I didn’t see you sneak that candy and dog treats in the cart, Nikiforov.” He said with a chuckle as he nudged Viktor with a white wing. He was relieved when they moved to a less crowded side walk letting his wings move into a more natural state. Letting his eyes wander he caught a glance of someone he recognized. Taking a closer look, it was who he had thought-Yurio. He pulled Viktor with him for a closer look of the younger man. Movement caught his eye and noticed another taking a seat in front of him.

“Hey it’s Yurio and I think that’s Otabek.” He pointed out, looking from Viktor to the couple. The moment Yurio and Otabek noticed them Yuuri waved, his wing fanned out a bit. “We should head back home, them to their date.” Yuuri whispered giving the couple a smile before pulling away and back to walking towards their home. He didn’t want to stand there too long, watching in on them. “I’m sure Yurio doesn’t want us barging in on them, since Otabek clearly is visiting.” Yuuri added, slipping Viktor more bags so he could pulled out his phone. He figured a quick text wouldn’t hurt. Yurio knew he was welcome over any time but he wanted to extend that to his visiting company as well.

[Text: Yurio]: Didn’t want to intrude, but you and Otabek are welcome to join us for dinner if you want.
