I was tagged by my lovely Hannah @avalonsbeauty  ♥  Here are the questions I was asked:

1. If you could have been there in person when a ‘big discovery’ was made which would it be and why?

I’m a sucker for archeology. So... maybe when they discovered the graves of the ancient Pharaohs of Egypt. Or the 5000 year old celtic hill grave of Newgrange in Ireland. Things like that.

2.  Your favorite artist asks to paint a portrait of you.  Who would that be and what type of setting would you want to be painted in?

Omg... I’m certainly not the type to stand model for something like this. But... I’m completely addicted to the time of pre-raphaelism and its artists. So if I had the choice I’d prefer John William Waterhouse to paint me in kind of a medieval dress, sitting at the seashore when the sun is setting and maybe reading a book... ;) I’m hopelessly romantic. Just so you know.

3. You have a chance to go forward in time, would you take the opportunity and, if so, what would you hope to learn?

And do I have the chance to return after this? If this is the case: I want to know about a cure for cancer. And how beaming is working. Bc I’d REALLY appreciate this kind of travelling. It would save so much time!

4. Name one celebrity you would be thrilled to never hear from again.

Haha! That’s a nice one. But I have to agree with you here, Hannah. There are by far too many peeps I could mention here... Rn... maybe that guy named Trump...

5.  Ice skate or roller skate?

None. I’ve only tried ice skating once in my life and it was a MESS. So I’d never try roller skating at all.

6.  Tell a favorite memory from school.

A favourite memory from SCHOOL? R u sure? WAS there a favourite memory at all? If so, I don’t remember... Maybe the fact, that the afternoons were mostly freetime. 

7.  Name something you wish you had been taught in school.

This is interesting bc I recently talked about that with an old school-friend of mine. And, it may sound ridiculous, but I always wanted to know more about the civil war in the US. We had WWII at least THREE times as a subject in school - which is important oc. But we barely looked beyond the frontier of the EU.

8.  Best advice you ever received from a grandparents?

Um... I can’t remember actually...

9.  What is your favorite era in history?

This sounds weird but I’ve always felt attracted to the 60s or 70s of the last century... Can’t explain why. But I don’t think you could call this an “era”...

10.  Ever had a premonition come true?

Oh yes...

11.  Name the absolute worst movie you’ve ever sat through.

Jurassic World. Seriously guys. What a MESS.

Things I’m currently into....

Songs: I’ve not listened to much music lately but I AM enjoying The Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack at the moment. 

Films: Meh, nothing in theaters at the moment appeals to me but I can watch period films over and over.  Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice, Master and Commander, The Count of Monte Cristo.

Shows: Outlander, First 48, Antiques Roadshow

People: I’m just not a ‘fan’ type person but I do like Sam Heughan and Catriona Balfe.  They seem so lovely together on screen and off.

Food:

Always and forever hamburgers.  Cinnamon rolls. No food fads for me.  I like what I like.  :o) 

Books: I’m a romance reader and I love books by J.M. Madden.  She’s got a good series about battle modified veterans that run a private investigation/personal security business.  A very welcome alternative to the kinky gazillionaires that seem to be flooding the market lately.  *prays for the future of the genre*
