This is Avarum, a Sniper Freak.
He’s the god of spiders, and he’s actually a benevolent deity. At least, he was. Then his friends abandoned him and he spent long enough alone that he not only created some creatures called Spiderlings as minions, but also looked into finding new mortals to spend time with and dote on. His captives are cared for and used as a stand-in for friends and family, and at least half of them, he got by going after people who felt alone and broken.
He sees mortals as beings created to be kept and cared for by the gods and has kidnapped a sh@t ton of them to bring to his little realm as his dolls. If he decides to take you home, he’ll use spider venom to make you too drowsy to resist and wrap you up in spider silk. He’s done this to at least 50 people, and he did it to the BLU team in the photo. His “dolls” live in luxury, but they can’t leave the place he has them in.
His name means greed, and he lives up to it. He could have a thousand captives and it wouldn’t be enough. He’s insane and psychotic enough to think his “dolls” are getting a better life and enjoy being kept with a spider god- and in some cases, he’s right, which makes him all the more difficult to reason with.
