i’m rereading joust and i kinda always wanted to draw the dragons in it
It’s very hard to capture Avatre’s real colors, but I have to give it a good try! She looks less yellow than this in RL, but ah well. She just shed last night, so a couple sun pictures were in order. She did NOT like the bright light, and hid her face at every opportunity xD She is now 54 grams and 5 months old. Tagging snek siblings: @i-m-snek @boopsthesnoots

Avatre the Brazilian Rainbow Boa finally shed this morning for the first time in my care. All one, big, happy piece! She is 4 months old, about 41 grams, and is as mellow as can be. @i-m-snek @boopsthesnoots tagging snek siblings :)
So little babysnek (Avatre the BRB) has been in shed for a while. However, I noticed that she was just hanging out in her cool hide for at least three days, so I checked the temps....and sure enough, her hotspot was sitting at 90 degrees! Too hot for a BRB. I figured out that the thermostat probe was sitting in-between the two heat mats, instead of directly on top of one. It must have been bumped by a cat or something D: I fixed it and temps returned to happy levels, but I still worried for the babysnoot. I’m glad she sheltered on the cool side. This morning though, she gave me a complete, healthy shed. Hopefully she’ll eat in a couple days as well!

New pictures of Avatre being a lovely bracelet <3 I love how Chaska just rolls of my arm, as if she wants to fall. But Avatre? She is very careful and deliberate when climbing around. I never have to worry about dropping her xD Avatre is now 40 grams, and very smol.
