the german dude singing Veruca's song was the final nail in the coffin for me and we hadn't even seen Wonka yet in the movie; Doll and I watched just to see how bad it was and we cringed a LOT. The only saving grace was the classic slapstick tom and jerry had.... and they DIDN'T TALK. -bless-

Oh my land, when my sisters as I saw that, at first we were just in awe that Slugworth GOT a song.  Here I was thinking, “Oh great, the ONLY original song in the entire flick, and they gave it to the villain - it’s not even good!”

THEN Anna realized and shouted into the call, “That’s VERUCA’S song!  They just straight up gave it to Slugworth!!”

We.... had to pause for a few minutes to let that sink in.

and guess what veruca still sings her song later but it’s a back-and-forth duet between her and slugworth in two different scenes i mean WHYYYYYYYY

... but yeah, at least Tom and Jerry are blessedly mute |D

Oh my! Stay safe and be sure all your portable electronics are fully charged, that you have extra batteries, and some bags of ice for your perishables in the fridge and freezer if power goes out!

Things are charging and we’ve got lots of ice and batteries just in case!  Hopefully it’ll blow through with no incident, but it never hurts to be prepared!  Thanks so much! *HUGS*

Awww! -hugs- take all the time you need! Ya gotta take care of yourself and get rested first! As much as you wanna get the art done, it's best to listen to your body's needs and tend to those first. You'll adapt and adjust easier and sooner if you don't try to push too far past your limits too often!

Yes, more rest = more energy = more ART!  Guess I’m too eager to share this little universe with everyone! It feels terrible, having made everyone wait for so long, but these stories ARE coming together - now I just have to show it! X3
