i’ll never forget there was this one white girl from europe who used to follow me on my main and one time she reached out to me to talk but every time i responded, she’d always reply with a correction and it felt so fucking microaggressive because i guess she thought i was speaking avee or some shit and white people love being subtly racist when it comes to “correcting” non-white people’s english. 

I’d say, “hey, im doing well, and how are you?”

then she’d go, “I am well* im okay. just really sad”

then i’d go, “oh. that isn’t cool. why are you sad?”

then she’d be like, “that’s not cool* becuase, something really bad happened yesterday”

and when i asked why she kept correcting me and she was “because you’re speaking wrong”. i just stopped talking to her. like how are you gonna correct MY first language when your ass was born and raised in scandinavia??? and yall swear europeans cant be racist or microaggressive
