13. What is your planning process?
"planning process" lmao you say that likes it's not a vague plot summary and a fever dream. I used to outline things but I kept adding things and getting lost so I just freehand things mostly. on the rare occasion that I do need my thoughts I'll have like a List of Important Things that absolutely need to be included, but that's only for major fics
38. Do you partake in any fanfic/writing events? (Big bangs, zines, NaNoWriMo, etc?)
I mean I've done prompt weeks before? (I want to do the Halloween week thing this year, but we'll see if I have time)
most big events scare me because I get intimidated and think I'm not good enough to like,,,, actually do it, but sometimes it's really just bad timing. hopefully I will be able to again though, the weeks I've done were so much fun

this fic I stg. it was a Halloween request from Aven last year, and I kind of took an unconventional approach with it so it's literally my least popular fic. it's inspired by the movie Coco, but I grew up learning about Dia de los Muertos and understand the significance of remembering family in a way that matters, so I just really vibed with the concept of Tony growing up and learning these traditions of his mother's even if Howard didn't respect them. plus I'm really into the concept of Tony being not white (in this case Mexican-American), but I get that that's not what a lot of people want. still it's one of my favorite thing's I've ever written and I'll probably reblog it again closer to halloween
