A fic where:
Director Fury and Derek Hale adopt each other. Fury threatens people and Derek stands half a pace behind his right shoulder, glaring at people and making snide remaks to back up Fury's argument.
Scott cajoles The Hulk into sparring with him because he's has no sense of self-preservation - Hulk is a little confused because he doesn't want to hurt Scott but he also kind of want to bash his head in. Scott doesn't seem to mind, running back for more with laugh each time The Hulk flings him across the room.
Cora challenges Thor to a wrestling match. Thor accepting because she seems so eager and as the King of Asgard he has to please his public. Thor swaggering in with confidence determined to let the young human beat him. Thor looking so devastatingly confused when Cora easily takes him down and puts him in a headlock to the scattered murmurings of congratulations from SHIELD employees and Derek's vigurous applause.
Mama McCall and Agent Coulson have drinks together. They can usually be found sipping a refreshing glass of Bloody Mary in between making sure Scott, Hulk, Cora and Thor don't accidently kill themselves.
Lydia joins joins Nat and Pepper's redhead coalition group when she's not busily shadowing Jane and Darcy, eagerly discussing anything and about Asgard, the Supernatural, different universe realms and those cute new Missoni prints - perfect for those cold nights spent star-gazing.
Kira and Allison form an intense, everlasting friendship with none other than Clint Barton. Their time together is spent perfecting archery, swordsmanship and the skill of wearing black on black on the more dangerous, nocturnal missions. This is balanced out by the late night horror movie-marathons they occasionally indulge in.
Jackson interns under Justin Hammer but gets so fed up with his shit that he eventually punches him in the face. Jackson slides on his aviators and, with a flick of his hair, saunters out of the HQ.
Stiles and Tony are caught in cycle of pranks, mild antagonism and a deep-seated love for (and a little fear of) each other. They have a stare off for the first ten minutes of their first meeting but then spend every waking minute at each other's side - planning both the extravagance of their next meal and world domination.
Boyd picks up this awesome looking hammer, the handle fitting just right in the palm of his hand and he smiles. It takes him more than a few minutes to realise that everyone else is staring at him in awed silence.
Derek inexplicably becomes best friends with Steve. He wolfs out, Steve draws him and they commiserate over the struggles of being stuck without their families. They also bitch about Stiles and Tony a lot.
Scott becomes Nat's protégé and he learns many things, how to properly execute a plan (with minimals casualties) and also how to kill a man with his pinkie claw. They break up the monotomy of working and training with intense bouts of WWE vieweing sessions.
The Sheriff and Maria commiserate deeply. Sheriff pulling Stiles by his ear out of where the kid had snuck in to talk to Loki, Maria marching an equally as guilty Malia towards the control panel.
Peter and Obadiah try for world domination, and fail. They practice their monologues side by side in the mirror, rating out of ten for being charismatic, sarcastic and melodramatic.
Rhodey and Mr Argent have long, deep discussions about honour and duty, before Rhodey is inevitably stolen away by Allison to practice hand-to-hand combat and military operations.
Isaac unexpectedly becomes very close to Bruce. He kinda messes up Bruce's tidiness every time he tries to broodingly lean against a table or a wall, but Bruce keeps him around anyway. Isaac dutifully wiping off his feet on the welcome mat just inside Bruce's lab, taking off his coat and unwinding his scarf to hang on the rack next to Bruce's. Isaac and Bruce trading tips on anger management and having in-jokes and communicating via facial expressions and nothing else.
Isaac and Scott and Clinton sitting on the top balcony of Stark tower, feet dangling over the edge, an ice cold beer in their hands as they talk about fathers and brothers (blood or otherwise) and the struggle of having so much power and responsibility in their lives.
Movie watching parties with the whole gang in the middle of Tony's living room - everyone talking over each other, popcorn spilling everywhere, at least three arguments, seven wrestling matches and one big happy family.
