I find it unfortunate that no one in the Danganronpa fandom ever talks about how Nagito was the inspiration for Edmond Dantes from Fate/Grand Order. Not only was Danganronpa artist Rui Komatsuzaki a guest artist for FGO, but I’ve read that the character Edmond Dantes is described as a “Super High School Level Heroic Spirit” and has a fixation/obsession with hope just like Nagito. I wish I could provide better details to compare the two but this is all I know.
As an aside, I’ve read that Danganronpa creator Kazutaka Kodaka is drinking buddies with Fate series author Kinoko Nasu. Yet when it comes to crossover stuff in the Danganronpa fandom, no one ever talks about this and it just bothers me.
