Oh no...please don't tell me i've lost them for good this time...
I could never forgive myself...
A Favor || Open
Gavin had been trying to work things out with the witch of the waste and even through Jraquke was not a fan of her he was still willing to help the guy out with a few things while life was rearing it's ugly head. However, he had forgotten open thing, he had no idea how to shop for a baby.
"Diapers, formula, wipes, lotion power...oh my god," he muttered as he looked over the shopping list,"why the bloody hell do baby's have to be so needy. Why can't they just run on a nuclear reactor and bullets..."
He paused and sighed heavily, realizing that he sounded like his older brother.
I just feel like going out today but I don't know what on earth for. I'll have to surprise myself I suppose.
Second Chance || Gavin+Jenna
He didn't know if this was a good idea.
None of it really made sense to him. Why one day it was like she was out of their life forever, and the next she was back and ready to see their son. He had been so protective over Noah. He hadn't trusted anyone with him before Yukiko became the baby sitter... and he didn't even want to get into that with Jenna. God knows what she'd say.
After putting the baby into his nicest little outfit, feeding him, changing him, and fastening him into his carseat, he headed off to the park where they had planned to meet.
It wasn't that he didn't trust Jenna... but he didn't know if he could trust her, and he wasn't willing to let her know where he lived just yet. He didn't want to wake up to an empty nursery and another note.
When they arrived he took a deep breath, stepping out of the car almost instantly and getting Noah out of the back. He headed towards a bench just under a large oak for shade, and looked down to his son as he walked. "Be good, okay? Your moms really pretty, and I know how you like to flirt with the ladies. You can't do that this time." he smirked, sitting down once he'd reached the bench.
"Now, we wait." he said, bouncing the baby in his lap as he kept an eye out for his ex wife.
Unneeded Rescue // Yukiko & Clint
Yukiko had done something quite stupid. She was walking home from babysitting Noah all day when she saw a guy trying to grab a woman's pocketbook. Without even thinking, Yukiko yelled, "Hey! Stop that!" Which immediately captured the man's attention. Ready for a fight, Yukiko unleashed her projection to try to control the man from doing anything else, but as soon as she unleashed her projection it started going toward the woman instead. It took everything she could to pull it back, but by the time Yukiko returned to normal, the man was staring at her, just as ready for a fight. To her utter horror, the man picked up a nearby park bench single handedly and tossed it at her, narrowly missing her. So, not only was he a robbing scumbag, he was a robbing scumbag with super strength. "Just great," Yukiko mumbled before breaking out into a run.
Just as she thought, the man was chasing her. At least he was leaving the other woman alone now, but now it was Yukiko who had to deal with this jerk. Her powers still weren't working right so she had to rely on other means to get this guy off her back. She was a smart girl, she could figure it out. Besides, she had been doing some physical training with Kate. She figured now was a good time to put her hard work to use. First, though, she had to get this guy away from heavy objects. She certainly didn't want to have to deal with him throwing another park bench at her.
"I'm not gonna stop chasing you!" the guy yelled. He had a really stupid voice which made Yukiko smile just a tiny bit.
"I know," Yukiko yelled back.
"You're gonna get tired eventually!" he yelled in response, but it was he who sounded a little winded.
Up ahead, Yukiko spotted and open area in the nearby park that was free from trees, rocks and objects that the guy could use to chuck at her, so she began heading toward that area, readying herself for the ensuing fight. But just before she could make it, she tripped on the sidewalk, causing her to tumble and skid into the nearby grass. Holding her ankle, she rolled over and saw the guy standing over her. You have to improvise, Yukiko, she thought as he moved even closer. But just before she could kick him in the groin, an arrow came from nowhere, grazing the man's cheek.
Stop.
Right there.
Who are you, and what in the hell are you doing sneaking around my house?
If you're wondering...
Why exactly I'm in a towel... Well, that would be because the water was luke warm all morning, so I decided to turn it barely to the hot and it turned into the freaking raining fires of mordor. Thus, I was unable to finish my shower.... And now, it's stuck that way. So, you think you can fix it?
