Honestly, this whole art and entertainment industry is horrible. The artists usually sell the rights to their creations to a company or an owner of the company, that person becomes the owner even though they did jack shit. They afterwards own that, make money out of that for how many times they want, while the artist is forbidden to do that.

I do not earn money from drawing fan art, and I won’t. It’s just wrong in my view. Even though I’ve seen dozens of other smallish artists earning money this way.

I don’t plan on working for a company. Now since I’ve entered this field a bit more, I’m getting more and more put off by the entire idea. I intend to work for myself and have my own brands. I might try a contract once or twice, for some very big projects, but other than that, a big Fuck You to the industry. You and your exploitation of the average artist.
