the thing is, the internet brings like-minded people together, which also means the people that hate you with every fiber of their being for even existing.
I want you to know that if you see a hateful post with like 4000 likes, all those people that liked it don't make up even ONE percent of humanity. I know that seeing numbers like that might appear like everyone agrees, but the truth is that the world is huge, and the internet also is. People from all corners of the planet can just log into here and like that post. And if that 4000 is all the post got, that's nothing!
Idk if I worded this properly, or if any of this is even coherent, but what I'm trying to say is: Seeing a lot of people on social media agree with a hateful or cruel opinion doesn't mean the whole world agrees. You are not alone in thinking that that opinion sucks major ass, even if it might look like it. There's people out there like you.
