"Drain Away" and "Kasumi"

Funny these songs are back to back, they're both oddly nostalgic to me. "Kasumi" is beautiful and eerie with the Butoh performers but the denim shorts in "Drain Away" are so damn distracting, who okayed that? 😅

So happy to get back to music videos although this song isn't really a favorite of mine, the video was a blast. There is just so much "face" 🥴🫠 and it's a bit silly but somehow cool as fuck. 🤷‍♀️👌

"Saku" (restricted version)

This was interesting to go through as someone who's from the US especially me living my life in NYC, I immediately recognized the photos from the World Trade Center wreckage on 9/11/2001 though I would've NEVER noticed if I wasn't making these posts. 🥲 I'm curious as to the purpose of sneaking that in and an image of a Abu Ghraib prisoner was used several times, bad taste in my opinion [but here I am posting it so who am I to say anything] but only out of respect for the victim otherwise I too am VERY aware of the atrocities surrounding the United States, and personally I have a lot to say about it all but I really wonder what they [DEG, especially Kyo] thinks about it here since they make it a point to include this kind of imagery on multiple occasions. I guess I'm curious about their political views.🤔🤔🤔🩶 This was the retricted version. "Average Psycho" has the unrestricted verison of this and "Kodou" but yea the main character in the video clearly killed their parents and Kyo's look is killing me hahahha🤷‍♀️ "Saku" is good song though. 💪🖤 That was long, my bad but I also couldn't translate the Japanese text and it was hard to get a shot of anybody.
