1.) how has your day been?

Spent most of my day watching America's Next Top Model so not bad.

2.) what kind of computer/laptop do you have? (I’m getting a laptop soon so answer this I want to know what people prefer)

I have the 2013 HP Windowsa 8 Sleekbook. It's a touch screen and it's super fun. It's not the one that can turn into a tablet, though. The only downside to it is it doesn't have a disc drive so I had to get an external one.

3.) If you were to label yourself, what would your label be?

Okay there is like no one label I could be so the conclusion is that I am a lexical gap which is the term used for when there is no word for something. For example, non-virgin is a Lexical gap because there's no actual word for it. (Better explanation on vlogbrothers)

4.) What is your favorite drink?

COCA-COLA. 100%

5.) what’s your favorite tv show?

DOCTOR WHOOO. But also Supernatural and Merlin. BUT MOSTLY DOCTOR WHO.

Coke is my favorite because its delicious and I am addicted to it and I have to have at least one everyday

Does there need to be a reason for liking Doctor Who or the others? They're just perfect okay I just love them.

ok so last night louise and i were discussing tid when something she said sparked an idea deep in the dormant corners of my little writer brain. it went something like this:

me: *gushes over Will Herondale before stating opinions on TID ships and whatnot... I can't remember what I said tbh*

louise: something about graystairsdale being a thing

me: i can see that threesome being a thing they're all just in love with each other so

louise: "i maintain that jem and will were each others first kiss and no one can tell me otherwise"

me: HELLO IDEA IDEA IDEA KIDFIC TIME au where Will and Jem are about 12/13 years old, just recently started training, Jessie was bragging about getting her first kiss from some mysterious guy (probably Gabriel) when Jem and Will realize they've never kissed anyone before OOH OR BONUS POINTS IF THEY'RE LIKE 14/15/16 YEARS OLD ok here goes... louise i'M GONNA DO THE THING THERE'S A THING I'M DOING IT

SO at midnight I started writing, and 45 minutes later I had nearly 1,500 words and my first non-cringe worthy fic. I hoped. Well, Louise liked it enough and said I should put it up, so here it is: (there's also a link to it on Wattpad if you want to read it there instead)

The Secret

            "I've got a secret! I've got a secret!" said Jessamine in a sing-songy voice as she giddily skipped down the halls of the Institute. She knew Jem and Will would hear her, which is precisely why she was doing it. Sure enough, moments after she had skipped past the weapons room, Will and Jem had emerged, their curiosity getting the better of them.

Jem shot Will an apprehensive look, his silver-grey eyes alight with wonder. "What's she going on about this time?" Jem asked, and Will stifled a giggle. "Probably snatched one of Sophie's dolls again. Last time Jessie had a secret, Sophie couldn't find her dollie for two weeks. And when she did, the poor thing had gotten Jessamine's idea of a makeover..." Will gave a shudder at the memory, and Jem snickered.

"We should find the doll and give it back to Sophie before Jessie ruins another one..." Jem said, thinking back to how distraught Sophie was when she had found the doll. "You just want to be her knight in shining armor, don't you?" Jem teased, playfully punching Jem's bony shoulder. They had only begun their shadowhunter training a few months ago, and Will could feel where Jem was toning out, despite his inhibiting 'medicine' that Charlotte always got on his case to remember to take.

Jem blushed at this remark, as this was not the case. He only wanted to keep the peace in the Institute, instead of having to deal with one of Jessamine's temper tantrums again. "Well, come on. We'd better get at it." Will said, striding down the hall in the direction Jessie had skipped.

Three hours and a top-to-bottom search of the Institute later, the boys came up empty handed. Will had lost a game of rock-paper-scissors to Jem and had to be the one to search the attic, his Witchlight throwing shadows against the walls of the attic in the evening gloom. All the same, Jem had to be the one to search the cellar seeing as Will was the one to search the attic. The two had searched every nook and cranny of every guest room, the library, training room, kitchen, dining room, and even snuck into Jessie's room at one point. Their search had lent them nothing.

"Well that was a waste of time." Will said as they entered the library. "I dunno, I kind of had fun, actually!" said Jem, smiling up at Will, who was half a head taller than Jem. Will opened his mouth to say something, but was interrupted by the door slamming open and Jessamine flouncing in in a tangle of giggles and limbs. Wait -- limbs? Who could that possibly be...? Thomas was upstairs in the weaponry last they had seen him, and he definitely would not have an arm wrapped around Jessie's waist in such a manner as this figure did.

"Oh, stop it, silly! That tickles, hey! You're tickling me!" Her laugh echoed around the cavernous library like tinkling glass. The answering laugh was throaty, definitely male. Jem and Will just stood where they were in the center of the room, watching the scene unfold before them. Will met the eyes of Jessamine's "attacker" and froze. Oh, no. Things just got very interesting. Will felt Jem stiffen beside him as he, too, recognized the other boy.

Jem just stared at the trainwreck occurring in front of him as Gabriel Lightwood locked eyes with Will and stopped tickling Jessamine, who was still oblivious to the other two boys' presence. "Well... This is certainly something to talk about." Will said cooly. His voice remained casual, but his body was tensed for battle, Jem noted as he recalled how Will looked during their training.

”You... I... I can explain!" Gabriel stammered, a flush creeping its way into his cheeks. "Explain what? Gabriel, why'd you stop? That was fun..." Jessie trailed off as she followed Gabriel's gaze to Will, and then to finally notice Jem. Immediately, she disentangled herself from Gabriel's arms and smoothed out her skirts.

"Don't tell Charlotte, either of you, or I swear I'll--" she was cut off by Will. "Or you'll do what, Jessie? Make me over in pink frills and satin hair bows and jasmine perfume? I'm shaking in my boots, I'm so terrified." Jem fought back a snort. Gabriel was full-on red as a tomato, all the blood seemingly in his cheeks as he stood frozen in place. Will was the one to snort this time. "You? And her?" this was directed at Gabriel, who, if possible, flushed harder. "Did you... you know. Kiss?" he snickered.

"Was that your secret, then?" Jem asked, remembering how giddy Jessamine had seemed earlier. It made sense now. Jessie was now the one blushing, a slow scarlet creeping into her cheeks. "So what if it is?" she said smugly, arching her back and rolling her shoulders backward. "So what if I kissed Gabriel Lightwood? That's one more kiss than either of you have ever had." And with that, she spun on her heel triumphantly, her loose curls the color of flax springing as she grabbed Gabriel by the wrist and marched out of the library, dragging him with her.

"As usual, Jessamine was her charming self and handled things with ease and grace..." Jem mused sarcastically. "How d'you think it was?" Will said quietly, not seeming to have heard Jem. "How was what?" asked Jem, confused. "Well, the kiss, of course." Will turned to look at Jem, who was regarding him as he looked up at the boy through his pale lashes.

"Slimy, I reckon." he said after a moment. Will was staring at him now in a way he had only done once before. Will's eyes had become the color of sapphires as he looked at Jem inquisitively. "Yeah, maybe..." ventured Will as he took a step closer to Jem.

Jem had always been slightly smaller than Will, most likely due to the effects of his medicine on his body. The boy's hair and eyes were leeched of color and he was lanky and appeared frail, but Will knew that those colorless eyes held sparks of life, and his lanky figure gave way to sinewy muscle and hard bone. In that instant, Will longed to know the feel of that muscle beneath his fingertips, to memorize every twist of bone and joint in Jem's wrists, shoulders, cheeks. He took another step toward Jem.

Jem stared up at will through half-lidded eyes. The taller boy was all soft angles where Jem was sharp, lean where Jem was gangly. Will's inky dark hair and deep blue eyes offset the stark lack of color in Jem. Jem, who found himself marveling over the dip of Will's Cupid's bow, just below his nose, and the curve of his lips as a flash of a smirk passed over his features. It was gone before it began, Will was regarding Jem in a very serious manner at the moment. Only inches separated the two as Will murmured, "Was Jessie right, just then? Have you never been kissed?" Jem gulped before dragging his gaze to Jem's eyes to answer. "Uh... No, actually. I mean yes. She was right." Will broke eye contact, raking his eyes over Jem's face before settling on his lips.

"Neither have I." He said it so softly it might have been a whisper, but it didn't matter. In that moment, Jem had caught Will's mouth with his. Before it even registered what he was doing, what he had done, he felt Will's strong arms come up to grasp one of Jem's shoulders, the other one snaking behind his back and pulling closer.

There was a gentleness in Will's movement, as if he were afraid Jem might snap in two if he were too fierce. Jem pressed himself closer still to Will, his hands finding their way into Will's soft curls. His head was swimming with thoughts he couldn't quite comprehend, things were disjointed, he felt disconnected from his body while every nerve was simultaneously erupting, zinging with contact. Will tugged at Jem's lip gently, not quite sure what he was doing or how he was doing it or if her was doing it the right way, but that didn't matter to him. His whole body was on fire, every inch of his skin was reacting to what was happening, bursting into flames on contact.

   After a moment, they drew away. Will met Jem's eyes for a brief second before saying, "Well... I guess that was a little slimy, after all."
