I made them for a oneshot that never happened and then played them in another oneshot recently and honestly? They grew on me so fast. I might play them in some longer term thing sometime or at least bring them back for other mini things.

Been a hot minute since I've drawn this guy. In fact this is the first time I've drawn him digitally. Did some slight tweaking on his design; made his horns more curvy so it'd be easier to drawing more naturally. Plus added some samples of his color palette. And I think this is the design I'll be sticking with from now on. I tweaked his backstory a little as well. Name: Avery "Two Sun" Graham Age: 30 Species/ethnicity: Horned toad/ American Indian; possibly Navajo, Pueblo or Hohokam. Occupation: Ranch hand, co-owner of the Big Sun Ranch Residency: Yucca Pines, Arizona Marital Status: married Family: Joshua "Big Horn" Graham(father, owner of Big Sun Ranch), Sabrina Vasek(wife), Zephy Vasek(sister-in-law), Abigail "Lil' Abby" Graham(niece), Michelle Graham(big sister and oldest sibling), Elijah Graham(little brother and Abby's father) Sandra Graham(step-sister and youngest sibling) Marsha Graham(step-mother and Sandra's biological mother) and Jane Graham(biological mother, deceased) Friends: Ramiro Zambrano(best friend, town electrician), Wade "Whiskers" Worrell(2nd best friend, city worker) A life-long resident of Yucca Pines and a ranch hand for the Big Sun Ranch that he co-owns with his father as well as a husband of 11 years to feline Sabrina Vasek, whom he's been married to since they both graduated high school. He, Zambrano and "Whiskers" have been friends since jr. high. Having lived on a ranch his entire life Avery's no stranger to hard work or the great outdoors and frankly he's quite content with that life, unlike the rest of his siblings. A mellow and easy-going man, he's got the patience of a saint and very rarely breaks his stoic demeanor. However he won't hesitate to retaliate against any threat to himself or those around him; he carries a .45 pistol with him at all times for just such occasions. He's also got little tolerance for those who have romanticized notions about American Indian culture, whether it's from his fellow Indians or white-guilt laden SJW's who've watched Dances With Wolves too many times. Frankly he could care less about Christopher Columbus, colonialism, manifest destiny, and all that; it was all before his time anyway. He's got a bit of a nerdy side to him under his rugged exterior. He enjoys unwinding with the occasional video game and is into sci-fi and fantasy but he's especially fond of the post-apocalyptic genre. Like his animal counterpart he can squirt blood from his eyes as a defense reflex and his favorite food is anything with ants.

Avery Graham is a twenty-three year old member of Pi Epsilon Delta and is currently attending Oxford University. Her focus studies are in Music with a focus on piano and though many people say she looks like Scarlett Leithold she doesn’t see it. Avery is known to be persuasive, independent, provocative and careless.

ALL ABOUT AVERY

As an only child, Avery Graham had been absolutely spoiled by her parents. Only receiving the best of everything which included education. Her whole life had been filled with private schools, winter trips to Aspen and the finest clothes money could buy. Most of the money her parents gave her was a pay off from her father for the horrors he had put her through. When she was just five years old he began sneaking in her room at night, telling her ‘daddy loved her’ as he shredded every ounce of innocence she had in her body. At the age of sixteen she began to rebel. She was used up, assuming no one could ever love a girl like her. . she gave in to the simple pleasures of the human body. Dabbling in drugs, alcohol and above all, sex. The one thing that pushed her to keep going was her love of the piano. All throughout school she had played, earned award just for playing her pain away. . for putting it all into the music she wrote. After she had graduated high school she continued to spiral in and out of control. One night after turning eighteen she had gotten high at a party, getting her fix. She chose to drive home, bad choice. Waking up in the hospital was the end and beginning of her life as she knew it. Not only had she killed two of her friends in the car with her, but her own parents when she hit them head on.

It was both the best and worst thing that had ever happened to her. With all of the money she had inherited her jail time was slim to none and once it was all said and done, she took the money she had received and ran. London was her next stop where she joined the Bxstards Society.

Here at Lady Geek Girl and Friends, we like recommending cool diverse webcomics, and I've come to add another one to our list as this week's Web Crush. It's called Bad Bad Things. I found it thanks to a recommendation reblogged by the queermediarepresentation Tumblr (which might be a Web Crush for another week), and I instantly fell in love with the gorgeous art, mysterious dystopian world, and diverse characters.
