Because: we saw Fiverek fanart that reminded both of us of his existence. He immediately came in with nearly all of his memories, pretty much birth to retirement.

Relationship status: has a [mostly] unrequited crush on Five, but remains single for a long, long time.

[some] history: from an alternate timeline where Five and him met as kids, and were friends. In this one, Reggie Buried Avery before he could grow up.

[Continued] almost nothing ended here, except that Five in this timeline was so distraught and disturbed, he never left the academy and died in the upcoming apocalypse, which happened earlier there. Meanwhile, Avery was only truly in the grave for a few hours. When the air began thinning, Avery was teleported to the comission. He was offered a position as an agent, after some thorough years of training of course, in exchange for his life. He eagerly accepted.
