Avery’s head was pounding when she woke up the next morning. Still half covered in glitter and her day old makeup smudged on her face, she quickly wiped it off with a makeup wipe, getting most of the glitter, but she convinced herself it would be weeks before she got all the glitter out of everything. She took a few ibuprofen and made her way to the kitchen to get some coffee. When she grabbed a cup she found Mikey in the living room on the couch. She sat the cup down on the side table before jumping onto the couch next to him. “Okay, tell me everything,” she insisted to him. “Last night was wild and I need to tell you things too, but I need to know what happened behind the trees last night first.”
