My favorite Avi line.
Hey, remember when Avi said that if he got sick it was probably his fault and he deserved it? Do you think he got that from Naomi?
Remember how the (presumably) last time Naomi saw Avi she left the intervention believing she was a bad mother?
Do you think when Naomi caught Covid she thought that she deserved it because she was a bad mother?
Do you think Naomi died thinking she deserved it because she was a bad mother?
I think about that a lot.
I made a sad meme
Currently obsessed with Raphael Bob-Waksberg's new show Long Story Short, so I wanna know, who's your favourite character?
Avi
Shira
Yoshi
Naomi
Elliot
Kendra
Jen
Hannah
Danny Wegbriet
Other?
Schwooper Siblings as Cats!
Things I want to see in the future of Long Story Short
More Elliot focus, season 1 was very Naomi centered
More Jen focus (maybe a full episode like Kendra? Maybe we can meet her new guy?)
More about the twins, they seem to me like the least developed on the family (if we don't count the extended family obv)
The Undeniable Isadora Duncan's name origin story
Baby comes back and we get some closure on her and Shira (obviously Shira's already married, I don't want them to get together but I want them to have a conversation, y'know?)
Shira coming out to her family (it'd be really funny if Naomi was super cool with it, considering how badly she reacted to Yoshi changing religion, and we do see that she ends up loving Kendra) (I wanna see everyone's reactions tho)
Hannah's bat mitzvah
The Schwooper kids go to therapy (although, Shira talks like she's already in therapy? I wonder what that's about) (a part of me wonders if maybe Shira studied psychology, we still don't know what her job is)
I do wonder how far into the future they're willing to go cause, so far, the latest year they've gone to is 2022 and Idk if they want to risk going further in the future than our current time irl. Like are they willing to go like The Simpsons and try to guess what the future will be like? Or do they wanna be more grounded in reality?
AVI SCHWOOPER YOU MAKE ME SO SAD I HEART YOU
How do you think Avi will take it once it’s pointed out to him that he acts like his mother. Same for Shira. If Jen’s new relationship ends up being serious I’m curious how Hannah will handle it. What if Jen’s new boyfriend insults Avi and how bad of a husband he was to her and how he couldn’t say the word love to his own family.
Every child’s worst fear is turning into their mother. I think that would be a funny episode where both Shira and Avi freak out because they are turning into Naomi
I feel like Jen and Avi would be a good co-parenting team and not shit talk each other when Hannah is in the room. Unless it is Hannah who’s complaining about her parents
