Yeah, no bump and it's not even tender now. There was a moment of shock at the time, but that may have also been due to the slight winding.

Just ten minutes prior to this photo? I was trying to explain to my friends that when I saw people holding things, especially holding things with their fingers together, four fingers and a thumb just looked too many and that every one should actually have three fingers and a thumb. I also explained that I was fully aware that this was an entirely irrational thought.

None of them agreed with me.

Is it possible that from a physiological standpoint Sedgwick was female, and interested sexually in men, meaning that society would have identified them as a straight female, but identified themself as male, and with homosexual inclination?

Making them a trans man.

But up to this point in the book, Shiri has been good at referring to people by their genders as opposed to their sexes. So, if Sedgewick was a man, I would have thought Shiri would have referred to them as one (given the strong expression Shiri seems to have for the bisexual community working in conjunction with the transgender community).

So that's why I'm confused.
